Originally published March 29, 2005 Bethany Richardson DESERT HOT SPRINGS, Calif. - Bethany was born July 2, 1971 and returned to live with her Heavenly Father, in the most beautiful rose garden, on March 26, 2005, after her long and painful war with cancer. Upon discovery of her cancer was also the discovery of her greatest gift and ultimately her greatest love, her daughter Anna Marie. Bethany's love and determination allowed her to fight for the life of her unborn daughter while undergoing small amounts of chemotherapy and other cancer treatments. Through her love, devotion and many prayers, her lifetime goal was accomplished by giving birth to her beautiful angel. Bethany's ultimate sacrifice, for her child's best chance at life, is truly an inspiration to us all. Bethany was a wonderful and loving Momma who fought everyday to spend a little more time with her baby. Although she knew her time would be short, she never gave up and spent every possible moment with her daughter loving and teaching her. Bethany enjoyed flowers, especially roses, butterflies and all aspects of nature. She liked to swim and sit in the hot tub. She loved to laugh and tell stories about back when. She enjoyed talking to people and was always making new friends. She was her own person who knew what she wanted. She was a hard worker and a devoted mother. Survived by her husband Dan Richardson (Desert Hot Springs, CA), infant daughter Anna Marie, her parents Bill and Leann Nebeker (St.George, UT), Lynne and Steven Cuff (Sandy, UT), and Linda Thompson (T or C, NM) who was at Bethany's side during her last hours. Her 18 brothers and sisters, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Her family would like to thank Dr. Lawrence Leischman and his dedicated staff at the Cancer Clinic as well as the doctors, nurses and staff at the Desert Regional Hospital in Palm Springs, CA. for their support and devotion to helping Bethany through the past 2 years. She had a special relationship with her Doctor whom she loved and trusted with her life. We will forever miss, but never forget, Bethany's love for life and her determination to live and love. She will always be an inspiration to all who knew and loved her. Until we meet again, we will love you always. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2005, at 4:30 p.m., at the home of Bill & Leann Nebeker, 1273 Valley Park Dr., Santa Clara, Utah. Originally published March 29, 2005
