GEORGE - Beverly Bunker Jones, left very unexpectedly, yet peacefully on May 6, 2005. She was born September 4, 1930 to James Raphael and Adele Slack Bunker. She married Trenton Hulet Jones on September 1, 1948, in Veyo, Utah and they were later sealed on September 23, 1961 in the St. George LDS Temple. She was raised in Veyo, where she attended school through the eight grade. She then went to St. George and attended Woodward Jr. High and Dixie High. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and lived its principals daily. She served in many callings and especially loved the youth. In her later years her work in the temple was her most beloved calling. Beverly lived most of her married life in Enterprise. She was very crafty and could turn a scrap into a treasure. Her work with Mrs. Munk and the First Graders was the highlight of her week. She is survived by her husband Trenton; her children: Lois Jones, Cheryl Runolfson, Joyce (Kim) Eardley, Eric (Laurie) Jones and Carylee (Ross) Staheli; 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, with two on the way. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters: Darrel (Roma) Bunker, Kathryn (Bennie) Nelson, Carma Lou (Dan) Morris. She was preceded in death by her parents, eldest son Erle Jones and brother, Garth Bunker. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at 11 a.m., in the Enterprise LDS Stake Center, 50 S. Center St., Enterprise, Utah. A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 10 from 6-8 p.m., at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 W. St. George Blvd., and Wednesday, May 11, from 9:30-10:30 a.m., prior to services at the Stake Center. Interment will be in the Enterprise City Cemetery under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary 435-673-4221. Condolences may be sent through Metcalf's website at www.metcalfmortuary.com. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Missionary Fund. To many she lived an ordinary life, but she lived it in a very extraordinary way.
