He was born February 26, 1951 in Ogden, Utah to Frank Atkinson Argyle and Irene Ward Baird. He later married then divorced. Bill was raised in Bountiful, Utah. He graduated from Viewmont High in 1969. He moved to the St. George area in 1996. Bill loved to golf and fish. He is preceded in death by his parents and a niece, Wendi Larrabee. He is survived by a son William S.; sisters: Judy (Val) Peterson, and Pat (Earl) Larrabee. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at 240 West 100 South, Hurricane, Utah. A Memorial service will also be held in Bountiful, Utah at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Bill's name to the Valley View Medical Center Cancer Fund, Cedar City, Utah. Originally published May 13, 2005 Karen Elizabeth Fieseler "Swan" LEEDS - Karen Elizabeth Fieseler, 53, returned to her Father in heaven at her residence on May 11, 2005 after a courageous battle with liver disease. She was born March 28, 1952 to Johnnie and Jean Goran Schick in California. She married Charles "Poki" Pokipala in Hawaii and five children were born to this marriage: Joshua, Jacob, Anuhea, Jonah and Kahui Pokipala. She later married Michael Fieseler on January 1, 1999. Karen lovingly accepted his four children as her own: Christopher, Jason, Cynthia and Michael, Jr. Fieseler. Karen died firm in the faith. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, loved the temple and served as an instructor in genealogy, but enjoyed any calling. Karen was most happy serving the Lord and she sang like an angel. Among her enjoyments in life were her children and grandchildren, visiting relatives, collecting swans and she loved horses. She is survived by her husband, Michael; eight children; three grandchildren, Teana and Halia Pokipala and Breylyn Esch; a brother, James Taylor; a sister, Kathy Columbus and many other family and friends that will love her forever. She is preceded in death by her parents and Michael's son, Christopher Fieseler. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 14, 2005, 1 p.m., Leeds 2nd Ward Chapel, 75 N. Main, Leeds, Utah. Visitation will be held Friday, May 13, 6p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 W. St. George Blvd., and Saturday, 11 a.m. - 12:45 p.m., prior to services at the chapel.
