Bunker 1979-2005 Ryan Jensen Bunker, age 25, passed away May 23, 2005 in Conway, SC, due to injuries sustained in an airplane accident. He was born December 28, 1979 in Monticello, Utah to David Bruce Bunker and Nedra Jensen Bunker. Ryan graduated from Monticello High School in 1998. He was an active member of the LDS Church and served in the England Manchester Mission from 1999-2001. He married Melanie Lynn Larson on November 17, 2001 in the St. George, LDS Temple. He received his Commercial Pilot Certification as well as Instrument Rating, Multi Engine Rating and several Flight and Ground Instructor ratings in St. George and Mesa, AZ. He was to receive his Bachelors Degree in Aviation Science from Utah Valley State College in the Fall of 2005. Ryan received a CNC Machinist Certificate from Southern Utah University and worked at RAM Company in 2001. He was currently employed as a pilot instructor for Sky Signs in South Carolina. Ryan was ambitious, goal oriented and organized. He was an Eagle Scout and enjoyed camping, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, motorcycling, traveling, woodworking, and being with family. Flying was his passion. Ryan is survived by his wife, Melanie, parents Bruce and Nedra Bunker, sisters Tamra Lewis (Kurt), Julie Holt (Clayton), brothers Brad (Julie), Preston (Ashley), grandparents Elwood Bunker, and LaVerda Jensen. He is also survived by Melanie's parents John and Jennifer Larson and her sisters Amber Southwick (BJ), Heidi Larson and Haylee Larson. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 28, 2005, at 1:00 PM in the Main Street Chapel, in Monticello, Utah. Interment will be in the Monticello Cemetery. Originally published May 27, 2005 Marna Lee 'Rusty' Lutton WEST VALLEY CITY - Marna Lee "Rusty" Lutton, 70, of West Valley City, passed away May 23, 2005, in Salt Lake City after a long and Valiant battle with cancer. She was born April 9, 1935, in Richfield, Utah, to Charles Varlan and Olive Estella Jensen Pinney. She married Harry Figuera in 1953 in California. He preceded her in death in 1962. She married Carl Lutton in 1968 in California. They later divorced. Rusty was an active member of the Intermountain Baptist Church in Taylorsville, where she had numerous close and dear friends. She is survived by her children of James A. (Shauna) Figuera, LaVerkin; Donald J. (Lori) Figuera, Layton; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Charla Ann (Rudy) Scheindt, Henderson, Nev; brother, Richard C. (Karen) Pinney, Santa Ana, CA. Originally published May 27, 2005 Phyllis Ann Tucker Stewart TROPIC - Phyllis Ann Tucker Stewart, 59, of Tropic, Utah, passed away May 25, 2005, in Salt Lake City, Utah, after a long battle with cancer. She was born February 21, 1946, in Cedar City, Utah, to Floyd J and Emma Colleen Munson Tucker. She married Max L. Stewart on August 12, 1964, in the St. George LDS Temple. Phyllis loved life, was very optimistic and never had an unkind word to say about anyone. She loved teaching and working with children. She was a member of the LDS church and enjoyed serving in many callings. Her greatest joy was spending time outdoors with her family and reading, dancing, singing and telling stories with her grandchildren. She was the perfect wife, mother, and grandma. She will be missed by all. She is survived by her husband, Max; sons, Sean L. (Kimberly) Stewart, Tropic; Trevor D. (Jennifer) Stewart, Kanab; R. Chance (Jessica) Stewart, Tropic; and Slate R. GEORGE - Carol Bonita Ingham Zimmerman, age 76, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2005, at her home in St. George, surrounded by her family after a long illness. She was born June 29, 1928, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Stephen Norris and Bonita Sims Ingham. Carol married Philip D. Zimmerman February 13, 1950, in Salt Lake City. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Carol was educated at South High School and the University of Utah. She was employed by Mountain Bell for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held many callings including: the Young Women's, Relief Society, Scouts, and the Primary. She was also an ordinance worker in the St. George Temple. Surviving family include her: husband, Philip, of St. George; son, Jon (Deborah) Zimmerman, of Phoenix, AZ; son, Stephen (Carla) Zimmerman, of Lindon, UT; daughter, Laurie (Kim) Soper, of Price, UT; and son, Justin (Nancy) Zimmerman, of St. George; 22 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kristine; and brother, Barry Ingham. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. at Spilsbury Mortuary Chapel. There will be a viewing from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., prior to services, at the Mortuary. Interment will be in the Tonaquint Cemetery.
