She was born June 6, 1944 in Ukiah, CA. to Alvie and Lillian (Hart) Youngblood. She married her beloved husband Steven A. Morrell August 1997 in Davis, CA. Where they retired and moved to Enoch. Pat was the type of women that would do anything for anyone. She was loved by all who knew her and she loved all she knew. She enjoyed going on trips with her husband Steve, Fishing, Shopping on the home shopping network and spending time with all her grandbabies. She adored her two living daughters Barbara and Shelly. They were the lights of her life. She is survived by her husband Steve, Daughters, Barbara (Bill), Shelly (Danny), Sisters Darlene (Dale) Ivy, Mylinda Battle, Jeanie Lepper, and Marilyn (Kenneth) Chapman. Brothers Alan (Leah) Roux, William Roux. Grandchildren, Amber, Desirae, and D.J. Great Grandchildren Kathleen and numerous step kids, grandkids, and great grandkids which she loved just as much. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Father and Step Father Jules, Daughter Kathleen and two grand daughters Jessica and Monica. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 19, 2005 1:00 P.M. in the Enoch 3rd Ward Chapel, 555 East Midvalley Road. Prior to the service the viewing will be 11:30 till 12:30 also at the church. Interment in the Enoch City Cemetery. Originally published November 18, 2005 Henry Reid Rodgers Henry Reid Rodgers, 86, passed away November 1, 2005 at Kolob Regional Care and Rehabilitation Center in Cedar City, where he has resided for the past three years. He was born in DeQueen, Arkansas in 1919. When he was a young boy he traveled to Texas with his family to find work. They settled in Alvin, Texas where he later married Edith Madara. They had three children. During WWII he served in the Army's Armory Division at Four Knox, Kentucky as a tank mechanic and trained others. After the war, he built a home in Alvin where he and his family resided for 20 years. During those years, he was Service Manager and mechanic at car dealerships in Alvin. And later had his own car repair business. He was also an accomplished musician. He played lead guitar and steel guitar in his own band, The Blue Star Rangers, as well as other local bands in the Houston area. He was also a songwriter, poet and inventor. For many years Henry was an active member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Alvin Lodge No. 453. Later, he divorced and married Trudie Worrell. He had his own dump truck and worked as an independent contractor for the State of Texas until he retired in Bacliff, Texas. During his retirement, he continued his songwriting, poetry and inventions. He also had a thriving lawn mower repair business. In 2002, he moved to Cedar City to be near his eldest daughter. While at the care center he (1) was honored with the title of Mr. Golden Years of Utah 2002, (2) represented the residents at monthly meetings in 2004, and (3) looked for opportunities to entertain and to share his humor with others. He is survived by his three children, Jean E. Bass, Charles H. Rodgers, and Alice M. Rodgers; Willard D. Bass, son-in-law; grandchildren, Robert L. Bass, Joel A. Bass, and C. Dan Bass, K. Brandon Rodgers, Kimy J. Rodgers, Gordon S. Bell and Gary W. Bell: 14 great grandchildren and many kindly friends. Memorial services will be held in Alvin, Texas.
