She moved with her parents to Short Creek, Arizona, where she lived most of the remainder of her life. Lucy passed away Thursday, October 20, 2005, at her home in Hildale, Utah. She is the sweet mother of 10 boys and 5 girls, and 2 sons who passed away in infancy. Through sweet diligence, she obtained her high school (GED) diploma, and worked her way through an Associates Degree in college. She was a loving wife, mother, teacher, nurse, and gardener. She especially enjoyed working with handicapped children. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 23, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. at the L.S. Johnson Meetinghouse in Colorado City, AZ, with visitations Saturday, October 22, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until time of services, both at the Meetinghouse. Interment will be at Isaac Carling Memorial Park in Colorado City, AZ. Arrangements are made under the direction of Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 S. Bluff St., St. George, UT (435) 673-2454.
