He was born October 14, 1929 in Red Wing, Minnesota to Arnold and Gertrude Wiebusch. He majored in agriculture in College. He was a member of the National Guard prior to enlisting in the U S Air Force where he was responsible for fire prevention and officer training in fire fighting at Nellis Air Force Base. After serving for 22 years he retired, but continued to perform the same duties as a civilian for several more years. He is survived by his wife Boonsong Changkij Wiebusch. They were married on March 6, 1977 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Katherine Magnuson. Glenn was an active member of Community Presbyterian Church and assisted in fund raising events and CPC Senior social gatherings. A memorial service will be held at Community Presbyterian Church, 2279 N. Wedgewood Lane in Fiddler's Canyon, at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 16, 2005. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Huntsman Cancer Institute or Community Presby terian Church. more ¯ Georgia Elizabeth Hart St. George Georgia Elizabeth Hart, age 93, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2005, in St. George. She was born Aug ust 11, 1912, in Los Angeles, California, a daughter of Philip and Mary A. Ball McAnany, Jr. She married Donald Anderson Hart II on June 22, 1934, in Los Angeles. Raised on a cattle ranch and educated in Los Angeles, Georgia was a graduate of Hollywood High School. She and Don moved to Pintura, in Southern Utah, and Georgia ran their cattle ranch from 1947 to 1952, while Don worked in oil fields throughout the world. In 1964, Georgia's entire family moved to Huntington Beach, California. After Don's passing in 1968, she became licensed as a real estate agent and stayed in Southern California until recently moving back to St. George. She was very independent, hardworking, and a real perfectionist. Georgia grew up close to the ocean and maintained a love for the outdoors. She was an excellent seamstress and had a "green thumb." Surviving family include her: son, Donald Anderson Hart III, of Riverside, CA; daughter-in-law, Barbara (Gary) Redmond, of Hurricane, UT; five grandchildren, Debbie Hart, of CA, Diane (Octavio) Hernandez, of UT, Donna Hart, of UT, Brad (Melissa) Hart, of CA, and Denise (Tim) Olson, of UT; and six great-grandchildren, Shawna, Elizabeth, Matthew, Justin, Sara, and Owen. She was preceded in death by her husband, one brother, and two sisters. Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 17, 2005, at 12:45 p.m. at Westminster Memorial Park, 14801 Beach Blvd., Westminster, CA, with a viewing from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., prior to services, at the Westminster Mortuary. Click on the rose. more ¯ Horace Reidhead Horace Reidhead Washington, age 88, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2005, at his home in Washington. He was born November 27, 1916, in Enterprise, Utah, a son of Alanson and Lucinda Estella Hall Reidhead. Born, raised, and educated in Enterprise, Horace worked for farmers in the Washington Fields. He was drafted into the U.S. Army during World War II, and received an honorable discharge at the end of his tour of duty. He then returned to work as a hired hand in the Washington Fields. Horace met Thelma Chadburn in Veyo, Utah, and they married shortly thereafter, on February 3, 1946, in Las Vegas, Nevada. They made their home in St. George, later relocating to Washington, Utah, where Horace worked for the Washington City Government as a sexton at the Washington City Cemetery and later as a heavy equipment operator for the Utilities Department. Following his retirement from the Washington City Utilities Depart ment in 1974, they moved back to Veyo. Horace was accomplished in masonry and in furniture carpentry. He was very handy when it came to fixing just about anything. He thoroughly enjoyed the many hours that he spent gardening. A loving and wonderful husband, Horace was always very attentive to his wife, Thelma. They were true sweethearts. He and Thelma enjoyed visiting with friends and neighbors. He loved his children and grandchildren, and they love him dearly. Horace was known as a gentle, kind, soft spoken, hard working man. He would do anything for anybody. Surviving family include his: wife, Thelma, of Washington, UT; children, Sherri (James) Nelson, of La Junta, CO, Robert Wayne Reidhead, of Washington, UT, Michael James Reidhead, of Las Vegas, NV, Harriet Hafen and Christine Stubbs, both of Veyo, UT, Kenneth Horace Reidhead, of Washington, UT, and Lana Kae (John) Murphy, of ID; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Zona Jackson and Ada Miller; and one brother, Roy Reidhead. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Rowland Reidhead, Ivan Reidhead, and Boyd Reidhead. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 17, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at the Veyo Ward Chapel in Veyo, UT, with a viewing Friday, September 16, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Spilsbury Mortuary, and another viewing Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., prior to services, at the Chapel. Click on the rose. more ¯ William LaRell Van Noy St. George William LaRell Van Noy, 69, September 12, 2005 in St. George. He was born January 10, 1936 in Thayne, Wyoming to William Avon Van Noy and Vernessa Tullis. He married Karen Y. Roos. They were married in Idaho Falls, Idaho on August 19, 1955. They were later divorced. He then married Nancy A. Jensen on May 4, 1981. They were later sealed in the Ogden temple to each other on July 19, 1996. He resided in Hooper, Utah for 42 years in the home he built himself. He attended University of Utah on a football scholarship. He worked for Farmer Brothers Coffee and also owned a food brokerage business for almost 20 years. They recently moved to St. George where they enjoyed their hobbies of golfing, the outdoors, and playing pool with his buddies. Bill was an excellent horseman who was an award winning calf roper and team roper. He is survived by his wife, Nancy and his Children: Kelly Van Noy, Kim (Les) Nicholas, Lori Adams, Shane (Rebecca) Van Noy, Debbie (Ron) Cragun. And step children: Robin (Gary) Bromley, Doug (Kristie) Bench, Pam (Jerry) Arave. Also survived by one brother and two sisters: Dean (Mary) Van Noy, LaRita Thomas, and Lenna(Lynn) Wheeler. With 24 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Lloyd Van Noy and his parents. We would like to thank the staff of Dixie Regional Medical Center for all of their compassion and efforts. He will be sorely missed by all. John Thomas Beaumont LaVerkin John Thomas Beaumont, age 24, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2005. He was born November 3, 1980, in St. George, Utah, to Corwyn Beaumont and Sherrie Gifford Beaumont. John T. was raised in LaVerkin and attended school in LaVerkin and Hurricane. He worked alongside his brother roofing houses. John T. had a beautiful mind, and a gentle and giving heart. He enjoyed reading, listening to music, camping, and hanging out with friends. John T. is survived by his: parents, Corwyn Beaumont, of Las Vegas, NV, and Sherrie Beaumont, of LaVerkin, UT; brothers, Clark (Julie) Beaumont, of Las Vegas, NV, Robert Beaumont, of LaVerkin, UT; sisters, Nancy (Quentin) Sorenson, of Denver, CO, and Barbara (Mike) Shin, of LaVerkin, UT.
