Her wit, her humor, her many talents of which she shared openly. We were all included in whatever Pat was doing. She showed us time and time again that it is the spirit in which we participate and quality of what we sew, that will reap a life that can be filled with adversity, trying times, sorrow, laughter, happiness and more than ever the ability to share and demonstrate only goodness. Pat was born in El Centro California, the daughter of Floyd and Lillie Ackley. She had one sister Wanda Thompson with whom she shared a happy childhood. Her fondness for life grew as she grew. She developed some unbelievable skills in clothing design, being able to sketch out designs and turn them into the latest fashions of the period, which was used later in life when motherhood came along. Her ability as a seamstress carried over to crocheting and knitting, she was very talented in these areas and shared her labors of love with many in her life. Her ability with poetry, dazzled us all, she could sit and recite prose after prose. Pat also enjoyed the world of horses. She knew her animals like no one we ever knew. Patricia is survived by her daughter Debra Wilson of New Harmony, Utah, her son Rob Billingsley of Murrieta, CA, her daughter Abbe Alvarez of Lake Elsinore CA. Her first child, son Brian Billingsley passed away in 1973. Pat had 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Patricia had recently moved to Utah to be near her daughter Debra. Her short stay here was a pleasure for all those who had the privilege to share her humor and philosophy. Patricia you have shown us all how to tackle adversity, with dignity, courage and above all an ability to love that is difficult to measure. May your new journey be filled with a new found happiness You are in all of our hearts forever. With all our love, Your family. Arrangements made through Swindlehurst Funeral Home.
