"God saw that she was getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around her and whispered, "Come with me." With tearful eyes we watched her suffer and saw her fade away. Although we loved her dearly we could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating, busy little hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, he only takes the best. It's lonesome here without you, we miss you so each day. Our lives aren't the same, since you went away. When days are sad and lonely, and everything goes wrong. We seem to hear you whisper, "Cheer up and carry on." Each time we see your picture, you seem to smile and say, "Don't cry, I'm in God's keeping, we'll meet again someday." Pat married Jack Bockas in July 1953 and they were together until Jack's death in January 1984. Pat and Jack were soul mates and best of friends. Pat was never th e same after Jack died. Jones, Wayne (Memoriam) IN LOVING MEMORY OFTYSON WAYNE JONESJUNE 14, 1984 - APRIL 6, 2003 To my family and friends,I know I didn't say goodbye that night so dark, so long, The time came swift to leave this world, awake, asleep then gone. At first I didn't want to go, my repentance out of reach, I watched my family left on earth, wracked with pain and grief. I panicked at the thought of death, my life was way off track, Then I felt my Savior's hand, gently caress my back. I'm way too young, I plead with Him, Eighteen, What can I give, He reassured me of my worth, my life with Him to live. And I knew at a glance, He forgave, I knew He paved my way, I knew goodbye was meant for earth, I'd see you all one day. On earth you've felt the words unsaid, the questions without phrase, Loose ends, untied, just dangle there, smothering joy and praise. But for me guys, I'm so complete, I've never felt more worth, Contentment fills my every breath, since I accepted eternal birth. I miss your touch, but I feel your heart, it permea tes the veil, Our lives go on in different worlds, our righteousness prevails. No explanation has been said, my death seems so absurd, Your minds run over that day, that night, searching for one word. I hear your whispers, your silent plea, I didn't say goodbye, You reach for me to feel my heart, then come up empty and you cry. But, goodbye seems so final, when I am near you every day, I know the plan, it keeps us close, I'm never far away. I wish that I could lift the veil, to show you all I see, To calm your sobs, to heal your heart, to feel you near to me. But, there are no loose ends, no questions left, this boy is now a man, And faith cements our eternal bond, it guarantees our plan. You know that time, the time I left, my night turned into day, I was filled with light, with hope, with trust, I've never felt that way. So now, I whisper in your ear, I'm your boy, your angel, your man, And when your thoughts are dark, just know, Goodbye's not in our plan. It can't be said, it doesn't fit, we're forever, you and me. Goodbye is such an earthly word, we'll bee together forever, you'll see.I love you all very muchTyson Published in the Standard-Examiner on 4/6/2005.
