Lonnie L. Boren 1917 - 2005 Centerville - Lonnie L. Boren, 87, passed away Friday, April 8, 2005. He was born June 9, 1917, in Whiterocks, Utah to Alma LeRoy Boren and Thelma Potter Boren. He was married to Vera May Peterson on August 14, 1939 in Manila, Utah. There marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. They were married for 66 years. They lived in Centerville for the past 33 years of there life. Dad worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for 43 years. He loved fishing, hunting, and camping with his family. He was a member of the L.D.S. church and served in numerous positions. He is survived by his wife Vera and there sons Kenneth (Judy) Dean (Terry) Jerry (Margaret), 10 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren, sister Esther (Don) Larsen, brother Farren Boren and Carol. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Argie, two sons Lonnie and Larry. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at 11 AM at the Centerville 9th Ward Building , 1475 North 50 East Centerville, Utah. Friends and family may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah. Graveside Services will be at the Manila Cemetery Thursday, at 11 AM. OGDEN - Douglas J. (D.J.) Fernelius, our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, son and great friend, has gone on an eternal Jeep adventure, Saturday April 9, 2005. Doug was born June 15, 1959 in Ogden to Douglas K. and Donna M. Fernelius. He was preceded in death by his beloved Pop. With quick wit, he made a lasting impression with everyone he came in contact with. He was the original Daniel Boone when it came to finding trails always taking a path for miles just to see where it would go. "Road trips" were his specialty. An avid outdoorsman he loved to backpack into Shoshone Lake and go winter-camping. His motto for snowmobiling was "drive it like you stole it!" He did everything to the "EXTREME!" D.J. loved his '56 Ford big window trucks and power! If it would go 150 he wanted 180! He also loved his "Rotties". He is survived by his wife Marcie, two daughters, Jen (Ryan) Law, and Makenzie, two step-children, Adam and Melissa, his mom, Donna, one sis ter, Debbie (Jack) Fox, three nieces, Rachel (Jase) Taylor, Jesi (Bill) Crase, Gina (Josh) Salvo, and seven grand nieces and nephews. Green, James David CLEARFIELD - Our cherished Father, Grandfather, Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend, James David Green, was called home to referee that Big Game in the Sky after a courageous battle with cancer on April 8, 2005. Dad was born September 17, 1957 to Curley and Frankie Green in Detroit, Michigan. He grew up and attended schools in the Ogden City area and was a proud Ben Lomond Scot. One of his biggest accomplishments was being awarded High School Basketball Official of the Year. My father was a proud member of the Big Sky Officiating Crew and also a long time employee of Utah Power. He is survived by his only child, daughter, Jenelle and grandson Nautus Knot-Head Semaj Green. Also surviving is step-mother, Doris Green; identical twin John PB Man; brothers Curley Jr., Marc, Jason, Eddie and Scott; sisters Rhonda and Teri; and by his special Aunt, Mayso Fields. He was preceded in death by his mother and father. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2005 at 1 p .m. at the Second Baptist Church, 227 27th Street, Ogden with Reverend Petty officiating. She was born December 18, 1918 in Ogden, Utah to Edward and Marie Long. She married Charles H. Hill on June 3, 1938 in Ogden, Utah. They raised four children, Dennis C. Hill (Carole), Clinton, Ronald E. Hill, West Haven, Jolene M. Maurer (Larry), Reno, Nevada, Cheryl A. Burnett (Rich), South Ogden. She retired from Weber School District in the Child Nutrition Program. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her four children, 11 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren survive her. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, one brother and one sister. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Leavitt's Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden. The family will meet friends on Monday, April 11, 2005 from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday one hour prior to the services. Interment will be at Leavitt's Aultorest Memorial Park. She was born May 5, 1918 in Oakley, Idaho, a daughter of Oscar Alfred and Annie Mills Anderson. She married Eugene V. Lund on May 11, 1945. They were later divorced. She lived in Ogden, Utah most of her life and was educated in the Weber County Schools; She worked at the Defense Depot Ogden, Hill Air Force Base, and Lewis Craft Shop. She retired from HAFB August 30, 1980 after 28 years of service. Aliene was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served faithfully in many church callings. She enjoyed her home and her flowers. Aliene was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She is survived by three sons, Larry (Sue) Lund, Taylor; Lee (Annette) Lund, Syracuse; Brent (Midge) Lund, Ogden; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Leavitt's Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden. Family and friends may call at Leavitt's Mortuary one hour prior to the services. McDade, Mabel TREMONTON - Mabel McDade, 87, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2005, at a local care center. She was born September 28, 1918 in Burley, Idaho, to Henry Smith and Mabel Herrington. On December 23, 1940, Mabel married Donald McDade in Carson City, Nevada. He preceded her in death on June 10, 1998. She managed the Hollywood Beauty College for many years. Mabel is survived by her son, Terry (Tori) McDade, Tremonton; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Maxine Pruitt, Brigham City; Mildred Hickman, South Willard; a sister-in-law, Loretta Smith; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers, Ervin and Harold Smith. The family wishes to thank Brigham City and Logan Nursing and Rehab for their wonderful care of their mother. She was born on October 1, 1924 in Ogden, Utah a daughter of Jane Tracy and Henry Guy Child. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Lila married William Thornton on May 20, 1949. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden Temple. She was reared and educated in Ogden. Lila had been a volunteer for the Weber County Nutrition Program. She enjoyed planning and participating in the activities at Union Gardens where she resided before she became ill. Lila enjoyed listening to her (oldies) music and making beautiful ceramics. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and her siblings. Many thanks to the staff at the Infinia Health Care Center for the love and kind tender care they extended to Lila.
