Aaron Matthew Branham Wednesday, August 24, 2005 IN LOVING MEMORY OF Aaron Matthew Branham Dec. 20, 1974 August 24, 1993 Hello son, it has been 12 years since I had the opportunity to talk to you face to face, and the last words I heard you say were, I love you too, Pops. On Friday, I was feeling down, as I was passed over again, for pro motion. I have come to the point in my life, where I have to deal with decisions made in favor of inexperience and youth, over that of experience and abil ity. I was so disappointed. So, Marlene and I drove up to Snow Basin Ski Resort and rode the Gondola to the top to Needles Lodge, and had dinner; in order to take advantage of the full moon to rise later that night. As the moon rose, I said to Marlene, "the moon really did rise! It is apparent that my life did not end with the news, I wasn't selected. I realized at that moment, that your life did end! You will not have the op portunity to share in my joy or my disappointment. Each year I find peace in communicating with you just for a moment. Whether I share my own disap pointment, or news about the family. I guess it was my turn to be selfish. For just a mo ment, I am able to focus my mind on your life as I recall the sound of your voice, see your handsome face. In my minds eye, I can see you as a young man, eager to take on the world. I would have loved to see you grow up and prosper. Thank you son for reminding me of the things that count the most. Thank you for your lis tening ear. Aaron, we miss you and we love you very much. Thank you for your life, your love and your laughter. You have left an Eternal Impression on our Hearts. I ask for a special blessing on our family, not just during this difficult peri od, but always. May God bless us to know that through Jesus Christ we may all be together again. Our lives are forever Touched by an Angel. As w e think of you today, We fly high er than an Eagle. Our children are the Wind Beneath Our Wings.
