Wendell was born March 13, 1932 in Logan, Utah, a son of Thomas Massey and Thelma Isabell Jenks Clegg. He married his eternal sweetheart, Wanda Jenson on September 17, 1953 in The Logan Temple. She passed away October 26, 1997. Wendell was born and raised in Logan and graduated from Logan High School. In 1963 he moved to Ogden where he resided until now. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held various callings including Executive Secretary, High Priest Group Leader, and Ward Mission Leader. He was a faithful Home Teacher. Wendell worked at HAFB as a Supervisor and Inspector for 37 years. He loved the Great Outdoors and always loved to go fly fishing, and hunting. He especially cherished spending time with his family. Wendell was a quilter. He has made over 200 quilts and given them away to family, friends, and charities. Wendell honorably served his country in the U.S. Army and fought in the Korean Conflict. He is survived by one daughter Nancy (Michael) Ellen Hales, Riverdale; son Thomas Kyle (Denise) Clegg, Washington Terrace; his grandchildren, the lights of his life, Adam, Brett, Craig Hales (serving a LDS Mission), Sammi Jo, Emalee and Kody Clegg. Two brothers, Clinton "Butch" (Marie); and DeVar (Jan) Clegg; two sisters, Ronda (Don) Tibbitts and Margie (Richard) Hymas, all from Cache Valley; and by his beloved sisters and brothers-in-laws, nieces, nephews and one aunt. Wendell was preceded in death by an infant brother, his eternal wife, and nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 23, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Washington Terrace 8th Ward, 350 West 5100 South. Moore OGDEN - Our father, our hero, our friend, Louis Aubry Moore, 85, passed away on June 20, 2005 at the Crestwood Care Center. He was born April 19, 1920 in Kerens, Texas, the second child of Thomas Patrick Moore and Mattie Lena Bruner. He married Mildred Clyde Burns on June 5, 1943. She passed away on December 26, 1946, while he was serving his country in Germany. He married our mom, Virginia Patricia Shely on March 25, 1949 in San Antonio, Texas. From this union two children were born. She passed away on May 1, 1995. He was raised and lived his life in Kerens, Texas until he joined the Army Air Corps/United States Air Force in 1939. He served in the South Pacific and Germany during World War II, and in Japan during the Korean War. Our father was a true patriot, who loved his country without question. The family lived in several states until he decided to retire after 23 1/2 years in the only other state besides Texas that he loved. He and the family have resided in Utah since that time. After retirement he owned and operated Moore's Texaco Service Station in Ogden, where he met many people he considered friends. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Moore, Willard; his son, David Moore, Ogden; and a stepson he raised, Warren Unsell, Humble Texas; his family not by birth but by love, Harold and Jane Hobster, Russ and Myrna Messerly, and Darrell and Helen Streble. He is preceded in death by his parents, both wives, his brothers Julius and Roy, and by his sister Julia Slagle. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and social workers at McKay-Dee Hospital whose kindness will never be forgotten. To Odyssey Hospice, how can we ever repay all of you for allowing our father to die with the dignity he deserved. Youll always be remembered in our prayers. Poulter, Thomas Lorenz Thomas Lorenz Poulter NORTH OGDEN - Thomas "Bud" Poulter, 90, passed away from causes due to age on Monday, June 20, 2005. He was born August 6, 1914 in Ogden, Utah to Lee Charles and Effie Grow Poulter in Ogden. Bud was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He attended Mound Fort School and graduated from Ogden High School. He joined the Army Air Corps in January 1942 and was stationed most of his military career in England at the 418th Bomb Group, B17 Base and at the Hunter Bomb Group. Upon his discharge, he went to work for Williamson's Truck and Auto Shop in Ogden. Bud moved to California to work for Hughes Aircraft and while there he worked for Centering Engineering, Air Forum and Swift Corporation as a Tool and Die Maker. While in California, he married Florence Anderson and lived in Los Angels. After Florence passed away, he moved back to Ogden to be near family and friends. He is survived by his sisters Melba Poulter (John Larson) of Orem; Marguarite Poulter Erickson (Arthur, deceased) of Walnut Creek, CA; brother William "Bill" (Patricia) Poulter of Huntsville, Utah. Also many nieces and nephews and his special friend and caregiver, Norris (Nick) Ficklin, of North Ogden. Bud was preceded by his parents and sisters Elaine Poulter Hilton and LuJean Poulter Richmond. The Combined Military Veterans Group will accord a short memorial service with military honors on Thursday, June 23, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Ogden City Cemetery. Price, William 1925 - 2005 William Price died in a tragic accident on I-80 June 18, 2005. Born in May of 1925 in Heber, Utah to Ezra and Beatrice Price. He was raised by his widowed mother in Clover, Tooele and Park City, Utah. Spent his summers with the Fred Price family in Paris, Idaho. He graduated from Park City High School, served in WWII as a gunner on a B-24 and graduated from Utah State Agriculture College in Forestry. Married ReNee Price in the Salt Lake Temple. They were parents of Thomas (Barbara), Susan Adams, Cheryl (Jay) Stocks and Robert (Connie). He worked at Geneva Steel and for the U.S. Forest Service as a District Forest Ranger until his retirement. He enjoyed his friends at Little America and associates at retired forestry meetings. He loved traveling and the natural beauties of the land and mountains. He is survived by his children; 20 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and many friends. Preceded in death by his parents; wife; brother, Robert Price. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 1:30 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where family and friends may visit Wednesday, 12 to 1:15 p.m. Interment, Provo City Cemetery.
