Robert was born January 18, 1941 in Ogden to Don C. & Ellen (Webster) Bailey. He married Lynda Bingham in Logan on October 10, 1966. Robert was a member of the LDS Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing pool. He is survived by his loving wife, Lynda Bailey; two sons, Brent (Ranae) Brown and Harold T. Brown both of Ogden; five daughters, Sheila Parker of SLC, UT, Brenda L. Bailey of Ogden, Deana M. Bailey of Draper, Nicole S. Bailey (Broc) of Ogden and Kimberly J. Broadbent, Louise (Bawden) May 10, 1920 - March 8, 2005 Louise Freestone Bawden Broadbent, age 84, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2005, in Ogden, Utah. She was born May 10, 1920, in Granger, Utah the daughter of Willard G. and Annie Wallace Bawden. Louise married Harvey M. Broadbent on June 10, 1943, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She graduated from the University of Utah in 1942, with a Bachelor Degree in Education. She loved Elementary School teaching. Louise was an active member of the LDS Church serving in many positions of service. She served with her husband a mission to Bangkok, Thailand. Louise was the Matron of the Ogden LDS Temple. Her cherished role in life was being a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and homemaker to her family. Survived by her husband Harvey M. Clegg, Helen Jones Helen Jones Clegg OGDEN - Our loving mother and grandmother completed her earthly journey on March 11, 2005 to join many family members and friends who were anxiously awaiting her arrival. Helen Jones Clegg passed away peacefully at McKay-Dee Hospital with her loving family by her side. Helen was born to Vildia Perkes and Joseph Edward Jones on March 13, 1923 in Ogden, Utah. She would have celebrated her 82nd birthday Sunday. She was married to Byron E. Christiansen in February 1944. He completed his earthly journey in 1950. Helen married Myrl Criddle Clegg on January 10, 1951. He also completed his earthly mission on February 1, 2002. Helen was an active member of the Mount Lewis 1st Ward. She served in many church positions including ordinance temple worker and a devoted visiting teacher. She worked at McKay-Dee Hospital for 20 years. She enjoyed the outdoors, sewing, reading and crocheting. She is survived by two daughters and two sons, Mary Louise (Rue) Jolley, Clearfield ; Carol Ann Clegg, Thomas E. Christiansen and Ken G. (Joy) Clegg all of Ogden; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and 10 brothers and sisters. Ewer BRIGHAM CITY - Our loving mother, grandmother passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at the Logan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center from natural causes. She was born on January 28, 1917 in Henrieville, Utah, a daughter of William and Mary Alemeda Willis Goulding. She graduated from South Sevier High School. Gretha married Charles Henry Ewer on September 26, 1946 in Mantua, Utah. He preceded her in death on February 9, 1977. She is a member of the LDS church. Gretha worked as a repo clerk and retired from Thiokol in 1982. Gretha loved to crochet afghans for her grandchildren and they loved them dearly. She also liked to read, do genealogy and dancing. Surviving are three daughters, Patricia (Noel) Lance of California; Charlotte (Don) Hayes, Virginia; Clara (Alma) Hemmert, Richmond, Utah; nine grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; three sisters, Melda Davis, Elva Sheppard and Mae Twitchell. She was preceded in death by three brothers, William. Lige and Melvin K. Goulding, two sisters, Amplus Sargent and Beth Gledhill. Gransden, Wesley MORGAN - Wesley Joseph Gransden passed away March 10, 2005 at Ogden Regional Medical Center. He was reared and attended schools in Kaysville, the son of Joseph Richard Gransden and Effie Mary Smith Gransden. He Married Janet Ashton March 12, 1943 in Kaysville. After leaving Kaysville, he farmed and ranched in Summit, Morgan, Weber, and Uinta Counties. He also ranched in Daniel, Wyoming and Prescott Arizona. He is survived by wife Janet Gransden and family members: Paul (Lory) Gransden of Cora Wyoming; Jean (Elmer) Vick of Fairhope, Alabama; and Bob (Sharon) Huerta of Morgan, Utah. OGDEN - Mary Wiseman Hill, 91, beloved mother, grandmother, mother-in-law and friend, died Monday, March 7, 2005. She was born January 12, 1914 in England, a daughter of Jesse and Annie Wiseman. She had three loving sisters, Edith, Florence and Violet, and two brothers, Jessie and Charlie. On April 12, 1932, she married John R. Hill in Lorenzo, Idaho. They were married for 71 years. John preceded her in death on March 18, 2004. Mary loved growing plants and flowers and could make anything grow. There were always treats and love to be found in her home - homemade bread and a warm bed for any passers by. Surviving are six sons, Ernest (Geraldine), Ronald (Olivia), John (Sharon), Donald (Kathy), Lamar, and Michael; one sister, Edith; 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband John and son Richard. Louhinejadian, Calina Teresa Calina Teresa Roybal Louhinejadian OGDEN, 38, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Thursday, March 10, 2005. She was born November 30, 1966 in Ogden, Utah to Reginald and Olga C. Baak Roybal. She married Mauro E. Lobato, Jr., December 21, 1984. They were divorced, but remained friends. She married her beloved husband Jamal Louhinejadian October 1, 1998. Calina was a member of the St. James Catholic Church. She received her Associates of Applied Science Degree from Weber State University. She was a member of the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI), and National Multiple Sclerosis Society (MSS). Calina is survived by her husband, Jamal, children Mauro (Stevie) E. Lobato, III, Nisha A. Lobato, and Sheereena N. Louhinejadian; father Reginald Roybal; brother Shawn (Suzi) Roybal; sisters Regina Handley; Colette (Cory) Nelson, and Bridget Roybal; three nephews and four nieces. She was preceded in death by her mother. Mortenson, Anne OGDEN - Anne Mortenson, age 55, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 11, 2005 at her home of complications from an extended illness. She was born October 18, 1949 in Ogden to Ray and Jackie Gibbons Mortenson. Anne graduated from Utah State University and worked at the LDS Church Offices in Salt Lake City for 20 years. She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in many positions of service. Anne enjoyed traveling and genealogy. She loved animals and children, and spending time with her family. She found joy in life. Surviving are her mother, Jackie Mortenson; one brother and two sisters, Greg (Carolee) Mortenson, Nancy Mortenson, Louise (Phil) Spencer; six nephews and four nieces. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her father Ray Mortenson, and brothers Paul and Lance Mortenson. Murphy, Francis Rose Taylor CLEARFIELD - Francis Irene Rose Taylor Murphy, passed away Friday, March 11, 2005 at Rocky Mountain Care Center in Clearfield. Irene was born Feburary 26, 1924 in Ogden, Utah to Lloyd Allen and Afton Hattie Clough Rose. Irene married Horace Frank Murphy September 29, 1956. Irene attended school, graduating from the Weber County High School, in 1942, the same year the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. We went to war on two fronts, in Europe and Asia during WWII. She worked at the Arsenal, and then later transferred to Hill A.F.B., one of the many civilian supply workers. Irene married Frank A. Taylor on June 9, 1942, They were later divorced. They had two children, Francine Rose Taylor Rowell, and June Elizabeth Taylor Moore. The call went out for civilian workers once again during the Korean War. Irene was living in Sacramento, CA, and worked at McCellan A.F.B. Irene married Horace Frank Murphy, a career Air Force man, September 29, 1956. They had three children, Colleen Rose Murphy Harvey, Frank Alan Murphy, and Patricia Eileen Murphy Clement. Irene was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many positions, including Relief Society counselor, Stake Young Women's President, and through Primary in her home. She enjoyed her travels throughout the United States and also visited many famous places in Luxemborg, Switzerland, Italy, France, Liectenstein and Holland. He hobbies included sewing, painting, crafts, gardening, dancing, singing, canning and baking. Irene is survived by her husband, Frank Murphy, Clearfield, Francine (Tommy) Rowell, Colleen Rose (Robert) Harvey; Frank (Lorie) Murphy; and Patricia (David) Clement; 25 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter June and grandson Dwayne Russel Moore, two brothers, Darell and Glenn, and one sister Barbara. Sniggs of Eden, Utah died March 8, 2005 after an extended illness. She was born June 11, 1929 in Lorain, Ohio, the daughter of Elmer and Julia Urban White. Lois came to Ogden as an x-ray technician for the Saint Benedicts Hospital. While working for a realtor in Ogden, she met Neal Sniggs. She married Neal on September 5, 1964. She became a beloved wife, mother and grandmother all on this day. Lois and Neal owned and operated Gray Cliff Lodge for many years, where she enjoyed the friendship of many employees and customers. She enjoyed singing in many choirs, caring for her roses, and traveling. She and Neal have enjoyed spending the winter in Arizona for many years. Lois was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Ogden and Queen Esther Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her husband Neal and his children; Kathi Jo (Parry) Smith, Steve (Jody) Sniggs and Nan Downing, 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and extended f amily in Ohio. Treasure, E. Margaret Mahany E. Margaret Mahany Treasure SOUTH OGDEN, 99, passed away March 11, 2005, surrounded by her family. She was born February 20, 1906, in Grand Junction, Colorado to John Groves and Minnie Caroline Lutz. She was the second of ten children. Margaret was raised on a farm near Fruita, Colorado and attended a little country school. She started cooking when she was twelve years old and eventually did most of the cooking for the large family. She married Ina Zina Mahany on May 13, 1923. They were the parents of five children. In 1942, the family moved to Ogden, Utah and later made South Ogden their permanent home. Margaret worked at L.A. Samuels as a seamstress for 19 years, even so she always found time for her vegetable garden, raspberries, and an abundance of flowers. She loved to cook and bake and could always fix a wonderful meal if someone dropped in. Her husband Ina died in 1950. She later married Earl Sale who died in 1960. She married again to James Treasure and h e died in 1970. Margaret had such a kind and generous heart. She loved to host Christmas parties, working on hand made gifts from one Christmas to the next for more than eighty people. She was baptized at the age of 95 as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She attended sacrament and Relief Society as long as she was able. Surviving are three daughters and one son. Louise (Ralph) Bearse, Ogden, Irene (Robert) Gardiner, South Ogden, Jean Malan, Ogden, Harold (Carlene) Mahany, South Weber. She has 18 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and 23 great-great-grandchildren, making 23 five generations. Also surviving are two sisters, Tressa Tredway, Oregon and Nita Baysinger, Colorado. Margaret was preceded in death by a little daughter, Roberta, her parents, two brothers and five sisters. The family wishes to thank the wonderful caregivers at Crestwood Care Center and IHC Hospice, Kathy and Julie for the loving care they have given our mother for over a year.
