BurgiOGDEN - Douglas Guy Burgi, 48, died Tuesday, April 26, 2005, at the Ogden Regional Medical Center of an apparent heart attack. He was born May 17, 1956, in Ogden, a son of Guy C. and Janet M. Johnson Burgi. He married Joy Coy on April 22, 1983. They were later divorced. He was a life long resident of Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School. He also attended Weber State University. Doug was owner-operator of Lee's Doughnut Shop in Ogden and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints. He also was a member of the Ogden Corvette Club. Surviving are his parents of Ogden; one daughter and one son, Crystal ( Clifford) Thomas, Ogden; Scott G. Burgi, Farr West; two grandchildren, Elxis and Carson Thomas; two sisters, Becky Burgi, Ogden, and Brenda (Karl) Metcalf, Farr West. Chapman, Thomas Clifford Thomas Clifford Chapman Tom Our dearest and beloved Thomas Clifford Chapman, returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday April 28, 2005. He was born on December 22,1968 in Marysville, California to Richard and Beverly Willey Chapman. Thomas grew up in Clearfield, Utah and graduated from Clearfield High School in 1987. He attended Utah Valley State College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science Information Systems with an emphasis in Business. Thomas married the love of his life, Barbara Reed of Midvale on August 16, 1990 in the Jordan River Temple for time and all eternity. Thomas was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was an Eagle Scout and served for many years in his ward scouting program as well as serving in other callings. His faith was simple and strong. Thomas was a devoted and loving husband, father, son, brother, and uncle. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. Family has always been the most import ant part of his life. Thomas had a thirst for knowledge, enjoyed technology, astronomy and a variety of outdoor activities. Danielian, Daniel Daniel DanielianWASHINGTON TERRACE - Loving husband, father and grandfather, Daniel Danielian, 78, quietly passed away, Friday, April 29, 2005, with family present. Dan was born December 9, 1926, in Haverhill, MA, the son of Dick Danielian and Rosaria Jacques. He married Elene Clark on November 10, 1962, in Oxnard, CA. Their marriage was solemnized in the Hawaiian Temple in 1963. Elene passed away in 1982. Dan was a U.S. Navy Seabee for 30 years serving in WWII, Korea and Vietnam traveling all over the world. He especially enjoyed being stationed in Hawaii. He later worked for the government for 21 years. He was a member of V.F.W. , Fleet Reserves and AARP. He was an avid bowler for many years and enjoyed watching sports of all kinds. Dan married Verlene Anderson in Ogden, Utah on October 10, 1986. He is survived by his wife, Verlene, a son, Richard (Michele) Danielian, a daughter, Danene (Howard) Stonerock, five grandchildren, two stepsons, two stepdaughters, four step-grand children, a brother and a sister. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elene, a daughter, Lynn, his parents, four brothers and one sister. Embley, France Beneth Roper "Bennie" Bennie Embley CLEARFIELD, Utah - France Beneth "Bennie" Roper Embley was born August 3, 1918 in Gunnison to Joseph Benson and DonEtta Peterson Roper. She married Henry Leon Embley on August 14, 1936 in Nephi, Utah. He preceded her in death February 14, 1981. Bennie was raised in Gunnison and spent most of her adult life there. She was active in her community, serving in the JC's, Gunnison Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, the Democratic Party, Lady Lions, Ladies of Elks and local PTA organizations. In the early days of Gunnison Fire Department, several "fire phones" were located in family homes. When a fire call came in Bennie would call all the volunteer firemen to respond. She supported her husband in his many civic callings and never complained of the added responsibilities those commitments placed on her. She and Hank owned and operated Valley Furniture until 1968 when they sold the business and moved to St. George. While in St. George, Hank and Bennie opened Embley's Draperies with Bennie running the business until moving to Clearfield. Bennie loved to golf and participate in other outdoor events. She was also an accomplished pistol marksman. She is survived by her children, John (Patricia) Embley of Pleasant Grove, Michael (Phyllis) Embley of Salt Lake City, Kathy (Terry) Jensen of Polson, MT, Reed (Doris) Embley of Layton; 19 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. She was extremely proud of her children and always loved to be around them. When she was with her children, she would often just sit and listen as she enjoyed the interaction of her family so much. Evans, Una Marie Allred Jensen Una Marie Allred Jensen Evans SOUTH OGDEN - Una Evans, 91, passed away peacefully at home on April 28, 2005. Mom was born in Fairview, Wyoming, the seventh of eight children to Seymour Bertie and Mary Ellen Child Allred on October 1, 1914. Shortly after her birth they moved to Logan, Utah and eventually to Salt Lake City and then Ogden, where she graduated from Ogden High School in 1932. In 1935 she married Harold Hap Jensen, they were later divorced. From this union came four children, LeeAnn, Connie, Mike and Jim. In 1956 she married Frank Richard Evans in Reno, Nevada. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple. Mom served for two years in the baptistry of the Ogden Temple. Mom retired from the Utah State Office of Social Services. Mom enjoyed her summer home on the Star Valley Ranch in Thayne, Wyoming. She was very talented in quilt making, crocheting and won many ribbons well into her 80's. Mom loved flowers and her garden. Her yard was an example to the w hole neighborhood. She was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers, her parents and one granddaughter, Amber. She is survived by her children, Lee Ann (Eddie, deceased) Atkinson, Connie J. (Dale) Bethel, H. Michael (Cis) Jensen, James B. (Chris) Jensen; 21 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. The family would like to thank mom's homecare ladies, Kelly, Elaine, Cheryl, Pam, Nola and Vie. John was born in Delta, Utah November 23, 1918 to Catherine Yeates and John Wesley Hall. Dad was reared in Sutherland, Utah and later moved with his family to Logan, Utah. He served in WWII in the 5th Air Force as a B25 pilot with the 345th Bomb Group. He held the rank of Captain. We are proud that our father was a part of the Greatest Generation. Dad married Naomi Badger in 1942. They were later sealed to their children in the Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity. Naomi preceded him in death in 1983. He met and married a very special lady, Jayne Browning. They shared 17 years together. They served an LDS mission in the Pennsylvania Pittsburgh Mission. Jayne preceded him in death in 2000. He was married to Delores Badger for three short months. She also preceded him in death. Dad was currently married to Doris Monson Hall. We will be eternally grateful to her for the sweet, gentl e care she gave to our father. Dad owned and operated John R. Hall Paint Company, for many years helping make people's lives more colorful. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Dad had a great love for his Savior and served in many capacities as a Sunday School Superintendent, counselor in bishoprics, and other callings. He was the Bishop of the Lorin Farr Ward for seven years and the Bishop of two Harrisville Wards. Dad will always be remembered for his great love of horses. Dad is survived by his four children: Carollon and Robert Blanpied, Suwanee, GA; Allen Winfield and Sherry Hall, South Ogden; Richard W. and Peggie Hall, Tucson, AZ; Kathy Cook, North Ogden; 19 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Dad is survived by his brother, Nelson W. Hall, and sister Sarah Hadfield, both of SLC. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Annie Lindquist, his brother Ellis Hall and a grandson Brandon Cook. London ROY - It is with great sorrow and saddened hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our husband, father and grandpa, Wayne Clough London, 65, on Wednesday, April 27, 2005. Wayne was born March 3, 1940, in Ogden, Utah, the son of Leland Carl and Elizabeth Clough London. Wayne married EvaLynn Gale on October 23, 1970, in Elko, Nevada. He was an active and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving as an Elder in the Royal Greens Ward. An avid and accomplished golfer, he shared that love with his wife, EvaLynn. He was a UGA and PGA rules official. Wayne's happiest moments were spent at Wolf Creek Resort, golfing, golfing and golfing. He was also a creative wood craftsman who enjoyed sharing his talents with family and friends. Wayne worked for the U.S. Forest Service for 19 years and the Department of Agriculture for 17 years until his retirement in October 1993. He is survived by his devoted wife, EvaLynn; daughters, J ulie (Scott) Davis, Clinton; Shelly London, Roy; Jyl (Eric) Checketts, Syracuse; and son, Blair London, Phoenix, AZ; nine grandchildren, Brittany, Bryson, Nicole, Janae, Taylor, Jaren, Connor, Kristina and Kameron; great-grandchild, Kayton; and his beloved dog, Peanut. He was born in Burley, ID on July 26, 1953 to Keith "Skeeter" and Patt Powell. Dean graduated from Burley High School and attended Utah State University. He ran the family farm in Raft River. He taught his kids the value of hard work. Dean lost his way over 20 years ago but is now finally at peace with his mother. He is survived by four sons, Chris, Rodger, Whitney and Preston; a daughter, Deana Marie; two brothers, three sisters and his father. He was preceded in death by his mother and his grandparents. Snow, Harry William Harry William SnowFARR WEST - On Friday, April 29, 2005, with his first class ticket, our "teasy" Grandpa climbed aboard a train bound for the great blue fishing waters of Heaven. Born in Olean, New York on May 20, 1934, to Theodore Welch and Marian Irnen Bimber Snow. Harry proudly served in the Navy during the Korean War. Upon his return home, he worked for the railroad and served as a police officer in Pennsylvania. On May 13, 1984 he married a woman as feisty as himself, Beth Faulkner. A proud member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he loved to do genealogy work. Greeting him in heaven are his parents, six brothers, Dick, Rudy, Joe, Walt and Tom, one sister, Pat, and a stepdaughter-in-law, Lila. Surviving are his loving wife, Beth, stepchildren, Craig (Rhonda), Robin (Randy), Stacy, Julie (Don), Mark (Jeanine), 19 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Wheeler, Congdon Leonard Congdon Leonard Wheeler HARRISVILLE - Congdon Leonard Wheeler, 93, peacefully passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at McKay-Dee Hospital of causes incident to age. He was born March 24, 1912 in Logan, a son of William S. and Edna A. Larsen Wheeler. On October 3, 1935, Congdon married Gwendolyn Mae East in Morgan. She preceded him in death. Congdon was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he enjoyed home teaching with his long time friend and neighbor, Robert Jennings. He was a member of the Riverside, Ben Lomond and White Barn Golf Associations. His hobbies included gardening and keeping in touch with his many friends. His interests were fishing, traveling, and golfing. Surviving are his daughter and three sons, Gaylene W. (Donald) Farrell, Harrisville; Sterling Jay (Carolyn) Wheeler, Harrisville; Gage Lynn (Lenna) Wheeler, Riverdale; Wayne East (Frances) Wheeler, Overton, NV; 15 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. Worrall ADIOS TO MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY Raymond C. Worrall passed away at his home April 13, 2005. Dad lived an adventurous life, the way he wanted to and with no regrets. His sense of humor and unique lifestyle will be missed by all who knew him. In May of 2000, dad suffered a stroke and because of this, he donated his body to science in the hope that progress may be made in the cure for or improved treatment of the side affects caused by strokes. Dad's endless energy and quest for knowledge kept him busy right to the end. Dad was born October 16, 1927 in Ogden. He was the son of Russell F. and Anna Crittenden Worrall. He graduated from Ogden High School in 1945 and attended Stevens-Henager School of Business. He served in the Merchant Marines and the Army and was stationed in Korea during the war. He married Kathleen Eddy, they were Later divorced. He married Judy Coley (Orton) and they had four children. They divorced but became good friends later in life. He was employe d at Defense Depot Ogden as a photographer, a skill that he utilized during his lifetime to record the memories of people he knew and the many countries he visited. He retired from the government in 1972. Surviving are his children; Keylan Worrall, West Jordan, UT; Teryn Worrall, Ogden, UT; Dayer (Jamie) Worrall, Farmington, UT; Mondi (Mark) Williams, Sandy, UT; and three granddaughters Chalese, Abbrielle and Sayda. Also surviving are three brothers; Russell Leon Worrall, Sierra Vista, AZ; Larry Worrall, Wiley Kim Worrall, both of Ogden UT; and three sisters, Jeannie (Steve) Bick, Carolyn Cromwell, both of Ogden, UT; and Louann (Harold) Ray, So.
