Jennifer B. Barrow WEST HAVEN - On May 1, 2005 my best friend, wife, daughter and mother to our boys, Jennifer B. Barrow, 39, left us while doing what she loved best, riding horses. She was born June 25, 1965 in Ogden to James W. and Francene Stamey. She married Scott Driscoll and they later divorced. She then married the love of her life Troy H. Barrow on May 21, 1994 and together they raised their two sons, the joys of her life, Brian and Tyson. Jenni graduated from Roy High School in 1983 and started her life in the working world. She was employed at Chromalox, Triple Stop, Jetway, and was currently employed at Hill Air Force Base with L-3 Communications. Jenni was a great friend and dearly loved by all that knew her. She never forgot a birthday and her relationships with her family and friends were the most important things in her life. Jenni loved to dance, but lived to ride her horses (Easter, Tripps, and Chisum) and taking care of them the very best. She was a previous member of Jr. Posse, and 4-H Club. She is a current member of NBHA, AWBRA, District 2 USWRCA Club and The Wild Ones Riding Club. Jenni was a leader and an example of excellent horsemanship. Her desire and love for horses made her excel in her skills in riding and she received many awards, trophies, saddles and recognition as a wonderful horsewoman. The last few years Jenni was an avid barrel racer competing all over the state and won a saddle in the XBA in Salina in 2002. Jenni was a member of the West Haven LDS Ward. Jenni is survived by her husband, Troy H. Barrow of West Haven, UT; her two sons, Brian S. Driscoll of West Haven, UT; and Tyson J. Barrow of Richfield, Utah; her mother, Francene Stamey of Hooper, UT; grandmother, Myrtle Clifton of Washington Terrace, UT; sisters, Shelia (Garth) Robinson, Shauna Rich, Janene (Craig) Linnen; and brothers, James (Chris) Cahill, Joel Cahill, and Jon (Maureen) Cahill. She is also survived by her in-laws, Blaine and Launa Barrow of Harrisville, UT; Sheri (Curtis) Mitchell, Deann (Jon) Moss, Mikel (Marcie) Barrow, and many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her dad, James W. Stamey, grandparents Ed C. Stamey, Carrie May Stamey Nielsen, and Harold A. Clifton. Bessinger, Max Max Bessinger 1943 - 2005 KAYVILLE, UTAH - Max Bessinger, 61, a great man passed away due to a heart attack on a beautiful Sunday morning, May 1, 2005. Max was born December 16, 1943 in Tremonton, Utah. He was the son of the late Albert Bessinger, Jr. and Faye Beth Holland Bessinger. Max married Mary Susan Barlow of Clearfield, Utah on December 4, 1968 in the Salt Lake Temple. He attended Bear River High School and graduated from Utah State University in 1971 with his MBA. He served a LDS mission to London England from 1962 to 1964. He spent a year at Fort Dix, New Jersey before he served in Vietnam during 1970 and 1971. Max was an active member of the LDS church and served faithfully in his church positions. He loved to hunt, fish, and play sports. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Max is survived by his wife of 36 1/2 years, Mary Susan Bessinger; children Emily (Phil) Neuenswander of Las Vegas, NV, Becky (Spencer) Nielsen of Sterl ing, VA, Chad (Tenaya) Bessinger of North Salt Lake, UT, Amanda (Ryan) Nybo of Kaysville, UT, and Mickey (Mio) Bessinger of Bountiful, UT; grandchildren Natalie Neuenswander, Nicole Neuenswander, Sarah Jane Nielsen, Amanda Nielsen, Eliza Nielsen, Cohen Bessinger, and Elisa Bessinger; mother Faye Beth Holland Bessinger Larsen of Brigham City, UT; siblings Richard (Karen) Bessinger, Hightop, AZ, Robert (Kathy) Bessinger of Honeyville, UT, and Garry (Pat) Bessinger of Preston, ID. Blakeley, Blaine E. Blaine E. Blakeley ROY - Blaine E. Blakeley, 59, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2005. He has joined his mother, father and grandparents in Heaven. Blaine was born to Darrell E. and Norma Jean Kidman Blakeley on December 30, 1945. He graduated from Bonneville High School in 1964. He met the women of his dreams, Linda Wilson, at Bonneville High School and married in June 1964. They have two sons. He worked at HAFB for 38 years and retired as Equipment Specialist in 2004 where he liked his job and enjoyed all the people he worked with. They were a big part of his family. He was a member of The LDS Church. Blaine enjoyed the great out-doors. He especially cherished the time he spent teaching his family about the great outdoors just as his father, and grandfather Kidman had taught him. Blaine is survived by his wife, Linda; two sons, Troy and Robert (Chrisana); six grandchildren, Kevin, Alesha, Zabrea all from Roy; Quade, Cora , and Hadden all of Clinton; great-grandson Kaleb, of Layton . Brown, Cleone S. Maw Cleone S. Maw/Brown 1923 - 2005 OGDEN, Utah - Sunday, May 1, 2005 Cleone passed away peacefully, at the age of 82 . She was born January 7, 1923 in Ogden, Utah to Eddy Sanderson and his wife Sarah Bitton Sanderson. Cleone grew up in the North Ogden, Roy, Ogden area. She married Roland Richard Maw, Sr. on June 18, 1940. Cleone loved life and enjoyed the relationships of many extended family members who lived close and far away. Cleone and Roland had seven children: Lynda, Richard, Jim, Robert, Mary Lou, Suezun, Janet. The children were raised in Ogden, Utah; Nyssa, Oregon; Melrose and Whitehall, Montana, Moses Lake, Washington, Roy, Utah. The family enjoyed working on the farms, ranches. Roland was injured in a car accident and passed away at the prime of his life leaving behind Cleone to finish raising the family. Cleone later married Norman (Gus) Brown and they lived in the Roy, Orem/Provo area. They later divorced. Cleone was a very talented person with her hands and her children, 33 grandchildren and 66 great-grandchildren have been blessed because of her life. Cleone was preceded in passing by her husband, Roland; son, Jim; daughters, Lynda and Mary Lou; sisters, Mabel Kreg, Lucille Nebecker, Donna Vitale and brother, Emerson Stephens. Cleone is survived by her sons, Richard Maw (Alaine) Kasil of Alaska; Robert (Peggy) Pinedale, Wyoming; daughters, Suezun Hilburn (Hal), St. George, Utah; Janet Engelke (Craig) Hooper, Utah and daughter in law, Terry Maw Wasilla, Alaska; son-in-law, Drew Foley Renton, Washington. Cleone will be remember by her family for her nurturing love to the family and her church work especially her love of family history. Lee, Carrie Carrie Lee OGDEN - Carrie Margaret Lee, 88, died Thursday, April 28, 2005, at Aspen Care Center of conditions due to age. She was born July 25, 1916, in Minkcreek, Idaho, a daughter of Christian Elias Jorgensen and Annie Margaret Hansen. She was raised and educated in Brigham City, Utah. She married Clarence Eldon Lee in Brigham City on January 30, 1934. He died October 11, 1994, in Ogden. She loved making her garden bloom, and she did a lot of needle-point and crocheting. She was always "elected" to bake the pies for family dinners, because her pies were the best. She is survived by one daughter, Joeleen Lee, Ogden; one son, Gary Ray (Tamara) Lee, Tooele; 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister, Gay Scothern of Layton. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brothers. Funeral services will be held at the graveside on Saturday, May 7, 2005 at 2:00 p.m., at the Lindquist's Memorial Gardens of the Wasat ch, 1718 Combe Rd., South Ogden, Utah. Mattson, USN (Ret.) died of complications of cancer on April 30, 2005 in Mesquite, Nevada. Pete was born September 23, 1927, to Sherman Ralph and Mae Scholfield Mattson in Ogden, Utah. He was married twice, first to Bonnie Craft, and later to Margaret Lankford. Pete grew up in Ogden, Utah on Chester Street. He was class president and captain of the conference winning basketball team at Mound Fort Jr. High. He went on to become a star player for the Ogden High basketball team. Pete enrolled in the Navy in 1946 at the age of 17, he served in the Korean War and then retired in 1969 as Lieutenant, specializing in and teaching photography. Photography remained a favorite hobby of his through out his life. He was involved in numerous professional and civic organizations, including; The Shriner's, The Mason's Lodge, the Fleet Reserves, Veterans of Foreign Wars and had been awarded a life time membership in the National Association of Naval Photographers. Pete i s survived by his two daughters; Cathy (Dan) Mattson-Buker of Tallahassee, FL, Emily (Dana) Miller of Stephens City, VA; 4 grandchildren, Cyrus Buker, Eric, Reid and Anna Miller; and four sisters; Maude Zundel of Highland, UT, Phyllis (Fred) Handsaker of Salt Lake City, UT, Gweneth Wilson of North Ogden, UT, and Margaret Wheelwright of American Fork, UT. Perry, Nadine Nadine Joyce Tauro PerrySYRACUSE - After almost a year of missing her beloved husband, our dearest mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend returned home to join her soul mate on Saturday, April 30, 2005. Nadine Joyce Tauro Perry was born April 29, 1926 in Ogden, Utah, to Antone Tauro and Carrie Owen. She grew up in Ogden with one sister, Colleen and attended Ogden High School. Nadine married the love of her life, Ralph Perry November 9, 1946. She worked for American Canning, Max Factor, and Clover Club. Nadine was a true friend with a gift for conversation. Usually the smallest in size, her presence was the largest in any room. She was honest and loving and enjoyed visitors. She loved crocheting and almost every neighbor or family member has an afghan, baby blanket, doll, or doily created from her loving hands. She loved going to lunch with her friends and shopping especially for jewelry with which she was always adorned. She enjoyed decorating for all holidays and baking candy. We all remember Christmases and can't get our divinity and fudge to turn out quite the same, or our lights hung just so. Her favorite past times were camping and fishing and would fish for hours usually catching the most. What she lived for was her family and taking care of her loving husband who has been waiting for her. Surviving are her four children, Lynda Mann, Syracuse; Lynn (Marion), Clinton; Steve (Toni), Tremonton; Brent (Gloria), North Ogden; 10 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister Colleen (Roy) Coxey, Washington Terrace; and many friends. Preceding her in death are her husband, Ralph Perry, her son-in-law, Stewart Mann, her daughter-in-law, Kathy Perry, two grandchildren, Trudy and Tracy Perry and her parents. Stark, Mildred Bonham Mildred Bonham Stark BOUNTIFUL - Mildred Bonham Stark, 90, passed away April 30, 2005 at Barton Creek Care Center, Bountiful. She was born November 9, 1914 to Silas Sheldon and Jane May Stokes Bonham in Clinton, UT. She married John Daniel Stark on February 23, 1937 in Logan, UT. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on February 21, 1938. John passed away on June 16, 1993. She graduated from Davis High School and Utah State University. Mildred was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She and John served a mission in Nauvoo, IL and served in the Ogden Temple for over 13 years, as well as many other callings. She was an educator for 24 years. She is survived by her children, John Conway (Mary) Stark, Kay W. Stark, David B. (Ellen) Stark and Kathryn (David) Degener. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren; her brother and sister, Myron Dell (Lucille) Bonham and Velma Nelson. She is preceded in death by her husb and, John; son, Gary; grandson, Micheal; one sister and three brothers.
