He was born on October 13, 1948 in Orem, Utah, a son of Jay and Jackie Okey Allen. He married Bonnie Conder on November 15, 1976. They were later divorced. Steven married JoAnn Davies on January 14, 1995 in Elko, Nevada. Steven was a Tool and Die specialist at Autoliv and then retired. He enjoyed golfing, working in his yard, but mostly spending time with his family. Surviving is his wife, JoAnn, North Ogden; three children, Stacy Allen, North Ogden; Stephanie Allen (Shayne) Schoolcraft, North Ogden; Everett Zane Allen, Eden; three step sons, Jacob Anthony Yazzie, Clearfield; Jason Rodney Yazzie, Ogden; Cody LaMar Yazzie, Ogden; eight grandchildren; his mother and step father, Kim & Jackie Mortensen, Mona, Utah; one sister, Pam Allen, Magna; one brother, Jeff (Jody)Allen, Magna; his mother-in-law, Norma Davies, West Weber. He was preceded in death by his father, Jay All en. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at 1 p.m. at the West Weber Cemetery. Aubele, Herbert M. Herbert M. Aubele 1910 - 2005 - Herbert M. Aubele, 95 was taken by our Lord on May 12, 2005, from Hospice Of The Valley, Scottsdale, AZ. He was born in San Francisco, Calif. on Jan. 6, 1910 to Clara and Max Aubele. Herb was a Master Brewer, graduating from Seibela College Of Brewing in 1939. He was very active in the Brewing Industry, as was his father, where both held many positions in the Western Brewery Assoc. functions. Herb, along with his wife, Elda and family, were among the original members of St. Ambrose Parish, meeting at the "We-Ask-You-Inn" restaurant even before the church was built. He was the first president of the St. Ambrose "49 er's Club". He was a life long paying member of the Elks Lodge for 55 years, and enjoyed gardening, golfing, and people. He truly enjoyed his last 15 years at Palm Lakes Village Retirement Center in Phoenix, following his move from Glen Arbor (Christmas Street) in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is survived by his wife Elda, of 70 years, sisters Eleanor Thompson and Melba Holderman; daughter, Delores & Bill Murray, Houston, Texas; son, Dennis & Darlene Aubele, Phoenix, Arizona; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren. Doughten, Margie Dallin Margie Dallin DoughtenOGDEN - Margie passed away on Friday, May 13, 2005 after a long and painful bone disease. She was born December 5, 1923 in Whitepine County, McGill, Nevada. Margie was the daughter of LaVon Iverson and Stephen Arnold Dallin. She married Reginald L. Doughten. After his death she married Thomas Harsha, no name change. Margie was reared and educated in Bear River City, Utah. She graduated from Box Elder High School in Brigham City, Utah. After graduating, she was immediately employed at Defense Depot Ogden. She worked 38 years beginning in 1942 and retiring in 1980. During her service, she received numerous awards and decorations for following through on assignments and always doing a task extremely well. She enjoyed music and was blessed with a beautiful voice. Throughout her high school days and later she played the guitar, sang, and yodeled. She helped organize the chorus at Defense Depot Ogden, they were called The Depoaires. They sang at many church, civic and m ilitary functions. After retirement she joined the South Ogden Senior Singing Group, they sang at many retirement and assisted living organizations. Margie loved playing bridge with her South Ogden senior friends. Tom volunteered at the center for many years. Tom and Margie spent many happy hours at their trailer house at the Ogden Eagles Park. They loved traveling. She especially loved going to Las Vegas and Wendover, Nevada. She told her family and friends it was because she was born in Nevada. Margie was known for her cheerful nature and her incredible sense of humor. She often said friends, family and memories are what make life so special. Each day of our lives is truly a gift. That's why it's called the present. She loved life, living every moment to the fullest. She was happiest when involved with her family. She was a member of the L.D.S. 3rd Canyon View Ward. She was a member of the American Business Women's Association and American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband Tom; two sisters and three brothers, Arva (Bob) Archibald and Roger (Bette) Dallin, both from Bear River City; Velma (Floyd) Graves, Sandy, Utah; Dennis (Collene) Dallin, Salt Lake City, Utah; and Terry (Cathy) Dallin, Coalville, Utah. She is also survived by one brother-in-law, Lee (Elaine) Johnson. Margie was a special aunt to eight nieces and 11 nephews who she loved very much. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and beloved sister LaPreal Tully Johnson. Eskelson, Willa Clair Willa Clair Eskelson OGDEN - Willa Clair Eskelson, 66, passed away May 13, 2005 at McKay Dee Hospital. She was born to William and Ada Mae Claypool on Nov. 8, 1938 in Logan UT. Willa married her high school sweetheart Connell (Con) S. Eskelson on Aug. 1, 1956 in the Logan Temple. Willa worked at ZCMI for many years. She loved all those who she came in contact with, and treasured the precious memories she had there. Mother enjoyed homemaking, knitting, quilting, and most of all being with her family. She knew how to throw a family party. Her smile is a ray of sunshine and would make everyone happy. She is survived by, and will be greatly missed by her husband, Con; her children Sandy (Richard) Cooper, Rusty (Allyson) Eskelson, Mike Eskelson, and Marcy (Lee) Potts. She will be missed most of all by her 15 grandchildren who she loved very much and always enjoyed having by her side. She is also survived by her sister Ann Mae (Gib) Duncan. She will be met with open arms by her mother, fathe r, and sister. Lipski, Paula "Marlene" Paula "Marlene" Lipski SUNSET - Paula "Marlene" Lipski, 57, passed away Friday, May 13, 2005, after a courageous battle with cancer at her home surrounded by her family. Paula was born March 13, 1948 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Thomas and Arlene Hooper Stevenson. She married Joseph Lipski on January 6, 1968 in Collingdale, Pennsylvania. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd and belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary. She held a Masters of Education degree and taught at the Clearfield Job Corp. She loved her husband, family, grandchildren and friends. She lived for her students and the love of teaching. Nothing brought her greater joy than gaining and sharing knowledge. If you met her, you loved her. When she loved you, your life was changed forever. Surviving are her husband, Joe; two daughters, Justine Fergeson, Wendover, NV, Cynthia (Darren) Honey, St. George, UT; and Jenifer Pont, Clinton, UT; grandchildren, P.J. and Kade Honey, Cody Fergeson, Taralyn Gebheim, and Ethan Pont; two brothers, Daniel Stevenson and Thomas Stevenson, III and a sister, Ginger Childs. Montgomery, Lisa Lisa Montgomery CLINTON - Lisa Marie Hoppe Mumford Montgomery passed away Friday, May 13, 2005 at Davis North Hospital at the age of 34. She was born May 16, 1971 in St. Paul, Minnesota and was a resident of Utah for 26 years. She is survived by her husband, Rodney Montgomery; a daughter, Haylie; a son, Weston; a stepdaughter, Jessica Montgomery; father and mother, Jack and Connie Hoppe; two sisters, Robin and Tina Hoppe, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles from both the Hoppe and Johnson families, and also a large Montgomery family of Earl and Rene Montgomery of Syracuse, UT. Lisa worked for Fresenius Medical for several years, where she had many close friends who loved her. She was a very friendly, helpful, loving and caring soul. She was the love of all of our lives and she loved life. We will surely miss her. Mary was born Oct. 6, 1951 in Ogden, UT to Murl and Elnora Redford. She married Earnest LuBean in 1966. They were later divorced. She later married Brent Cheney, they were later divorced. She is survived by her daughter, Tamara and Jeff Sill of Clearfield;and a son, Earnest LuBean of Phoenix, AZ; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a sister, Colleen Helms of Toole, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Darlene Redford Bigelow and two brothers, Leon and Junior Redford. Stahle, Nora Atkinson Nora Atkinson Stahle BOUNTIFUL - Nora A. Stahle, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away May 13, 2005 at the age of 88. She was born September 1, 1916 in West Bountiful, Utah, to Charles William and Elizabeth Garrett Atkinson. She married Keith L. Stahle on November 24, 1941 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She attended Davis County Schools and graduated from Davis High School. Mother had a deep love for her family and was always there to encourage and comfort each one. Her many friends were greatly blessed by their association with her. Mother's home and gardens brought her great joy and comfort, and those who visited were always warmly received. She loved to read, keep up on current events, and appreciated good music. Crocheting, knitting, cooking, and playing the piano were some of the activities she also loved. She created beautiful handiwork pieces, of which many relatives and friends were the recipients. During the course of her life, No ra was a devoted and loving caregiver, having attended to her mother, sister, husband's parents, and especially her husband Keith, in the last years of their lives. She was an active member of the LDS Church in the Bountiful First Ward. Mother had a strong testimony of the gospel and its truthfulness. She was faithful in her church callings and served unselfishly for 12 years in her Ward and Stake Relief Society Presidencies. Nora is survived by her sister, Barbara (Scott) Rice; daughter, Alice (Craig) Johnson and their children, Walt, Wendy, Tracy and Heidi Beth; daughter Mary (John) Hepworth and their children, Kim, Heidi, Christopher, Michael and Jeffrey; daughter-in-law, Sharon W. Stahle and her children, Susan, Phillip, Paul and Allison; and twenty-two great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Keith, son Richard, parents, brother and three of her sisters. The family wishes to express their deepest thanks to her devoted and loving caregivers, Sherry Heap, Conni e Smith, and Pam Hull, who attended to Mother during her extended illness related to a stroke.
