Tiffany was born April 27, 1980 in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of Steve and Cindy Lloyd of Clinton, Utah. She married Jessie Jay on September 22, 2001 in Clinton. She gave birth to her daughter Vyolette Blu in July of 2000. Tiffany was a loving and devoted mom of her 5-year-old daughter, Vyolette Blu. She loved and is loved by family and friends. She had a deep compassion for humanity and the whole earth. Tiffany was an inspiration to everyone, and lightened the spirits of all with her optimistic outlook on life. Tiffany, you will always have a special place in our hearts and we will always remember you as a beautiful person and as a great mom, wife, daughter, granddaughter, sister and friend. Tiffany is survived by her husband Jessie Jay, her daughter, Vyolette Blu, her parents, Steve and Cindy Lloyd, her brother, CJ and his wife Danielle, sister, Brittany, grandparents, Mildred Thompson, Donna Lloyd. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 19, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Leavitt's Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden. Shirley Ann Ward Saturday, September 17, 2005 NORTH OGDEN - Shirley Ann Visser Ward, our loving wife, sweetheart, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday morning September 14, 2005. She was born July 31, 1935 in Ogden, to Cornelius "Carl" and Anna Wolthius Visser. She attended Ogden High School, Weber State College and graduated from Utah State University with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Library Science. As a librarian at Weber State College she met her sweetheart and future eternal companion, Ray L. Ward. They were married and sealed together on June 10, 1958 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many callings throughout her life. She and Ray served as Ogden Temple workers which they both enjoyed very much. Shirley was an elementary school teacher in Ogden and Salt Lake City. She also taught in Churchville, Maryland while Ray was serving with the U.S. Army. Following Ray's discharge, they moved back to Utah and purchased their family home in North Ogden where they have lived for the past 43 years. Her many talents included music, needlework, painting, ceramics, cooking and compassionate service. Surviving are her husband Ray, North Ogden; four children, David (Cammy Doxey) Ward, Lynda (Doug) Evers, Neil (Salena Loosli) Ward, Shirllyn Ward, and 13 grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers and one sister, Ralph Visser, Carl Visser and Adele Flinders. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and older brother Cornelius "Neil" H. Visser. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the North Ogden 20th Ward Chapel, 3100 North 575 East, with President Milt Flinders officiating. Charlie Pokorny Saturday, September 17, 2005 Our Precious Baby Charles C. Pokorny III, our littlest angel was born and got his wings on Monday, September 12, 2005. Born with Trisomy 18, he left his parents' loving arms to join the other tiny angels in God's loving arms. Charlie was born to Charles (Chuck) Pokorny II and Karen Pokorny. Sending him to heaven with heavy hearts are his loving parents, his brother and sisters, Danny Pokorny, Niki Pokorny, Kalina Noland, and Sierra Noland. His grandparents, Charles and Maxine Pokorny of Layton and Larry and Marsha Bentley of Salt Lake City and his great grandmothers Della Diamond, Spanish Fork, Millie Monaghan, Omaha, NB. William Albert Benincosa, Jr. Saturday, September 17, 2005 (Skip) KAYSVILLE - William Albert Benincosa, Jr. (Skip) passed away September 14, 2005. He was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa to William Albert Benincosa and Rosa Irene Benincosa, April 18, 1945. He attended the Clearfield schools and graduated from Utah State University. He served in the United States Navy. He also served an LDS mission to South Africa and was always eager to serve in his various church callings. He grew up with Ree, Mary Jo, David, Barbara, Vallard, Robert and Warren, always loving them and their families. Always ready to help and to teach and to listen. Passing on now to join his father, William, they will stand together to await and prepare in the coming day for a sweet and glorious reunion of his mother, Rosa. His great love of her and gratitude for her endearing and enduring example brought him continued happiness and comfort always. Skip married Patricia Jo Pierce. Sealed together forever they loved one another in a most treasured way. Together they have seven strong sons and one lovely daughter: Ben, Paul, Tom, Adam, Ryan, Amy Jo, Neil and Nate. Later, Nancy, Rachel, Cami and Tym brought added love and heartfelt memories. Thirteen grandchildren enjoyed his jovial, playful, and loving heart. His overwhelming concern and compassion was always his priority and his gift. His great humor, ever present and treasured, was only exceeded by his gentle and tender nature to comfort, sustain, and serve his family. His message to his grandchildren is, Im Trying To Be Like Jesus. His message to his children was to remember hard work, service, and righteousness are whats needed to Carry On. His assuring and eternal love and thanks are given to all who touched his life. His quiet, constant remembrance of The Twelfth of Never and Side by Side is his message to his Sweetheart. Martinez Saturday, September 17, 2005 "Together Again" Luis A. Martinez joined his beloved sweetheart on September 15, 2005. He was born in Durango, Colorado on January 30, 1941 to Mary Martinez. Luis graduated from High School in Hawthorne, Nevada. Later he joined the Army and became a paratrooper. After serving his country, he married Helen Chavez and they had one daughter, Michelle and one son, Dennis. They were later divorced. He married his soulmate, Hilda Peterson Gullet, they shared 21 years together until Hilda passed on. Luis was a dedicated employee at W.W. Clyde until he retired after 21 years of service. Luis loved the outdoors, fishing with his family, traveling to Wendover, and helping others. He had a zest for life and would never give up. He will truly be missed by those who knew him. Survivors include: his daughter, Michelle (Felix) Pacheco, Montrose, Colorado; son, Dennis Martinez, Colorado; Brothers and sister, Pete Martinez, Provo; Mark Martinez, Antioch, California; and Mary Martinez of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Also numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his mother, Mary; brother, Gilbert and Melax Martinez. Timothy Allen Clark Sr. Saturday, September 17, 2005 Timothy Allen Clark Sr., 51, of Apache Junction, AZ, passed away at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, AZ Sept. 6, 2005 due to complications following a stroke. He was born May 6, 1954 in Salt Lake City, UT, a son of Dahl L. and Virgie K. (Green) Clark who preceded him in death. He married Kathy Marie Wall Sept. 17, 1971. They were married 20 years and then divorced. He graduated from Layton High School in 1972. He was employed by Albertson's Distribution Center for 18 years and was currently working for Arizona Golf Resort, Mesa, AZ. He is survived by sons, Timothy Allen Clark Jr., Apache Junction, AZ; Brady James Favero, Layton, UT; daughter, Mykelle Lynn (Kevin) Glass, Sunset, UT; grandsons, Michael and Dakota Glass, also of Sunset; brothers, Dahl L. Clark Jr., Kitty Hawk, NC; Kent D. (Sondra) Clark, Newport News, VA; Russell W. Clark, San Francisco, CA and sister, Karen G. (Wynn) Hanson, Layton, UT. He loved spending time in the outdoors with friends and family fishing, camping, golfing and boating. He also enjoyed shooting 9 Ball in the Davis County Leagues. Tim requested his body be cremated and his ashes spread in Southwest Montana, where he grew to love fishing with his family and friends. Services will be held Sept. 23, 2005 at Summer Ward, 410 E. Wayne Frederick Buckley "JR" Saturday, September 17, 2005 OGDEN - Wayne Frederick Buckley, also known as "JR" to many, age 23, left his earthly home Tuesday, September 13, 2005. He was born January 19, 1982 in Ogden, to Wayne Edward and Brenda (Bremer) Buckley. Wayne lived in Ogden all of his life. He attended Ogden High School and played football. He also played football and Jr. Jazz in the programs offered through Ogden City. He had worked for the Horsley Company and enjoyed the travel that came along with this job. His favorite place was Germany. He had also worked for Cache Commodities where he was given the job title of "pelleter". Wayne had the most infectious and engaging smile; and he was always willing to help anyone. His mom often offered his services; and he never turned her down. He was an AVID outdoorsman, which started when he was quite young. He would go hunting, fishing and camping with his dad. His love for fishing only grew, and became one of his favorite past times. He loved Karl Malone and the rest of the Utah Jazz. He loved the Green Bay Packers and he also was an enthusiastic NASCAR fan. Wayne is survived by his daughter, Nikaya Saylor-Lynne St. Pierre; his sister, Brianna Dawn Buckley of Ogden and his brother, Brett Garrett Buckley of Ogden; two nephews, Michael and Tanner and three nieces, Chaylene, Jessica and Samantha. He adored them all. Also surviving is his grandfather, Frederick Edwin Bremer, to whom he was named after, and lots of aunts and uncles. His mom will miss him teasing her with "hey ol' lady, how ya doin'?" He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Maurice Robert Buckley, Althea Scott Buckley and Jo-Ann Viola Laird. Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 19, 2005 at 10 a.m. at Ben Lomond Cemetery. Born in Layton, Utah June 5, 1919 to Dell H. and Sarah Kershaw Adams. She married Eldon (Doug) Simmons. They were later divorced. She married John S. French on September 8, 1955. She loved poetry, music, art and reading. Surviving are her daughter Kathryn (Vance) Bennett, Syracuse; son, Richard A. French, Livermore, CA; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters, Josephine (Stan) VanFleet, Salt Lake City; Mary Brewer, Salt Lake City; numerous and nieces and nephews.
