Newey Maero was born on September 24, 1916 in Ogden, Utah, a daughter of John Newton and Mildred Donnellon Newey. She received her education in Ogden, a graduate of Ogden High School and Weber College. November 19,1955 she was married to Norman H. Johnny Maero in Elko, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden L.D.S. Temple. She was employed by the federal government as Personnel Clerk and Civil Service Examiner and was designated a member of the Local Civil Service Board, 13th U.S. Civil Service Region. Later she worked as secretary and medical assistant to a local physician and then the Weber County Health Department as County Nurse. She was employed as a Medical Transcriptionist at St. Benedicts Hospital. Later she was employed as Medical Secretary for the Ogden Clinic until her retirement. She was a member of the L.D.S. Church. Ida is survived by her daughter, Marlo Michelle (Vern) Reid; two grandchildren, Diamond and McLain Reid, two step-daughters, Joan (Ted) Wright, Mary Ann Bowcut;; a very dear aunt, Erma Peters and Johnnys grandchildren, greatgrandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and one brother, Ernest Newey. Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 26, 2005 at 2 p.m. at Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd., Ogden. Lucille Williams Saturday, September 24, 2005 CLEARFIELD - Lucille Williams, 78, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2005 in Ogden. She leaves behind six of her seven children. One passed before her, Terri DeAnne Williams. Her surviving children are Barbara J. Wallace (McQuary), Judy D. Profaizer (McQuary), Michael S. McDill, Frank Kenneth Williams, Debra A. Izatt (Williams), Larry P. Williams. Also surviving is her oldest sister, Clara Long (Campbell). She was preceded in death by her three siblings, Mae Moss, Vernal Campbell and Jean Leslie. Lucille was born November 1, 1926 in Ogden to Harlow and Lavina Mae (Norman) Campbell. She was the fourth of five children. She lived most of her life in Ogden and Layton. She was married to Richard M. McQuary with whom she had two children. They were later divorced and Lucille then married Frank N. Williams who preceded her in death in January. Lucille was very loved. She was known for her generosity, creamy skin and home made fudge. At her death she was surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family and friends may call on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Aaron's Mortuary, 1600 Washington Blvd., Ogden. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. with a viewing at 10 a.m. Interment, Roy City Cemetery on Monday at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements under the direction of Aaron's Mortuary & Crematory, 1600 Washington Blvd. Jeri Code Holbrook Jones Saturday, September 24, 2005 OGDEN - Our beloved mother, grandma and sister, Jeri, died at the age of 63, Tuesday, September 20, 2005 at home surrounded by the people she cherished, following a valiant battle with colon cancer. She was born April 2, 1942 in Ogden, a daughter of John Robert and Dorothy Frances Linton Code. She grew up in Sunset and Roy, and later lived in Bountiful, Riverdale, Liberty and Ogden. Jeri loved music, dancing, the theater, traveling, gardening and decorating. Jeri's most precious moments were spent with her family and friends. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints her entire life. She served in many callings, her favorite being Music Director. Jeri was the owner/operator of Jerico Enterprises. On March 4, 1963, Jeri married Joseph B. Holbrook in the Logan LDS Temple. He died April 17, 1969. She married Richard Larry Jones in July of 1988. They later divorced. Surviving are her children, Stephen Michael Holbrook, Ogden; Joey Lyn (Ed) Clayson, Tooele; Troy Holbrook, Ogden; Heather (Kerry) Doutre, Riverdale; five grandchildren and one on the way. Also surviving are two brothers and three sisters, Robert Michael Code, Roy; John Robert (Sherri) Code, Gilbert, AZ; Peggy (Michael) Knowles, Clinton; Sharon (Dale) Sansom, Farmington; Melody (Douglas) Vandenberg, Layton. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may call at the mortuary on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Bountiful Memorial Park.
