She was born January 15, 1950, in Ogden, the 3rd child of Odean L. Hansen and Margaret C. Clark. She married Steven Walker, they later divorced. She then became engaged to marry Roger Carter, who preceded her in death. She went to Lynn Elementary School, Mound Fort Jr. High, Ben Lomond High, and John Affleck Trade College. She worked managing several companies, taught dancing, draftsman for the Forest Service, and secretary at Hill Field air mission. She also volunteered for many causes, including Festival of Trees for eight years. She was a member of the LDS church, where she taught Sunday School and Primary. Karo loved her children, grandchildren and friends very much! She also enjoyed dancing, traveling, music, arts and crafts. Surviving are one daughter, Marnie (Mark) Hamblin of Portland, OR; son Sean Eldon (Beki) Walker of Ogden; and six grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any Wells Fargo Bank in Karo Walker's name. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ogden City Cemetery, 20th and Madison. Friends may call on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Myers Mortuary in Ogden, 845 Washington Blvd. Betty Vasquez Hadley Friday, September 30, 2005 Betty Vasquez Hadley OGDEN - Betty Vasquez Hadley passed away on September 28, 2005 in Provo, UT after a long battle with cancer. Betty grew up in Lima-Peru where she graduated from primary and high school. She graduated with a Bachelors and Masters Degree from BYU. She was also a professional interpreter and translator. Betty was a member of the Sigma Delta Pi Society BYU Chapter. She married Thomas Hadley on April 13, 1991 in the Manti Temple. They served a Mission in Norway from 1994 to 1996 where she distributed 2,500 Books of Mormon. Betty also helped the missionaries in Peru to bring many people to accept the gospel and to be baptized in the Mormon Church. Her warm and gentle spirit endeared her to everyone. We remember her great faith in God. Her love and charity for the poor, the children and for the elderly remains a very strong foundation and sweet fragrance in our lives. She is survived by her husband Thomas Hadley; her brothers Caesar and Walter Vasquez; sisters, Victoria Vasquez, Josefina Garcia, Carmen Wins and Chela Minano and many nephews and nieces. Services will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2005 at 12:00 noon at the Highland Ward, 1314 27th Street in Ogden, UT the viewing will be held an hour prior to the service. Stuart 1934 - 2005 Carlene Elizabeth Jorgensen Stuart, 71, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2005 following a courageous battle with cancer. She passed peacefully surrounded by the children she cherished. Carlene was born on April 27, 1934 in San Francisco, California to William and Mary Jorgensen. At age 17, she took a civil service job in West Germany, where she met and married Frank K. Stuart on May 3, 1953. In 1960, the family moved to Bountiful, where Carlene lovingly guided and directed the lives of her seven children. She is survived by five sons: Scott (Karen), Greg (Desi), Tom (Stephanie), all of Bountiful; Stephen (Allison) of Salt Lake City; Kenneth (Becky) of Farmington; two daughters: Sandra (Steve) Mason of Fort Worth, TX; and Julie (Gregory) Castle of Kanab; 25 grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren. The family would like to express their gratitude to Ellen Lamptey, who lovingly cared for Carlene during the last months of her life. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 3, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bountiful 54th Ward, 540 North 1200 East, Bountiful. Interment-Lakeview Cemetery. John David Schuster Friday, September 30, 2005 WEST POINT - In loving memory of John David Schuster, 26, beloved father, husband, son and friend. John returned to his Heavenly Father on September 24, 2005. He was born September 15, 1979 in Jacksonville, FL to Gary Nelson and Helen Romanoski Schuster. On July 23, 2000 John married the love of his life, Lindsay Shore. John was as aerospace technician and served in the U.S. Air Force at Hill A.F.B. After his time with the Air Force, he and his wife went to Saudi Arabia where he worked as a contract tech for the Saudi Air Force. John's precious son, Cole David, was born March 12, 2003 while they were stationed there. In August of 2004 they joyfully returned to a new home where he went to work for Hill A.F.B. for L3 Vertex Aerospace. He loved his work which was just an extension of his own "Star Wars"! John was a Star Wars fanatic and an avid reader. John was such a wonderful and loving father; Cole misses his daddy terribly. He is also survived by his wife, Lindsay; parents, Gary and Helen Schuster, Jacksonville FL; and brothers Gary and Rob Schuster. She was born February 5, 1924 In Nounan, Idaho to Wyler Fredrick and Florence Johnson Bartschi. She follows in death her husband Ezra Lloyd Budge deceased April 13, 1976 whom she married September 21, 1944 in the Logan LDS Temple. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Surviving are her six children Patricia Budge of Salt Lake City, UT, David L. (Suzanne) Budge of Boise, ID, Susan (Roy) Boyette of Port St. Joe, FL, Brenda (John) OBrien of Layton, UT, Steven L. (Mary) Budge of Las Vegas, NV, and Scott W. (Natalie) Budge of Ogden, UT. She leaves 19 loving grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She will be sorely missed.
