Given under my hand as Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, at Richmond, this 28th day of December 1791. A true copy teste: Littleton Savage Clk. At a Court held in Accomack County October 27, 1796: It is ordered to be certified that Margery Groten a poor soldier who died in the service of the United States is still the widow of the said John and in indigant (indigent) circumstances. Teste: Littleton Savage Margery Groten was further certified to be continued on the list of pensioners by the following Governors: R.
