   This Indenture made this Twenty eighth day of December in the year of our 
Lord one thousand eight hundred and ten Between Daniel Thacker and Lucy his 
wife of the county of Albemarle of the one part and Joshua Wheeler of said 
county of the other part  Witnesseth that the said daniel Thacker and Lucy his 
wife for and In consideration of the sum of twenty pounds Currant Money of 
Virginia to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath 
given Granted Bargained and sold and by these presents doth give Grant Bargain 
and sell to the said Joshua Wheeler one certain tract or parcel of land 
containing fifty Acres more or less lying and being in the County of Albemarle 
on the waters Mores [sic; Moores] Creek and bounded by the lands of the said 
Joshua Wheeler  Nathaniel Thacker and Phillip Gooch Decease'd lines so 
including the plantation whereon the said Daniel Thacker now lives 
To have hold  occupy and enjoy the said land and premises with all the Houses 
Orchards Woods and every of the convenences and appertenances [sic] thereto 
belonging or in any wise  appertaining to the said Joshua Wheeler his heirs 
and assigns forever, and the said Daniel Thacker and Lucy his wife doth hereby

forever warrant  and defend the title and right in fee simple in and to the 
said Fifty Acres of Land with all its appertenances  to him the said Joshua 
Wheeler against the claim of him the said Daniel Thacker and Lucy  his wife 
their heirs Executors Administrators or  Assigns or against the claim  or 
claims  of any other person or persons whatsoever 
In  witness whereof the said Daniel Thacker  and Lucy  his wife hath hereunto 
set their hands and affixed ther [sic] seals the day  and year  above  written

   At a Court held for Albemarle County 7.th January 1811 
               This Indenture of bargain and sale was produced into Court and 
acknowledged by Daniel Thacker  and Lucy his wife she being first privily 
examined as the law directs and ordered to be recorded.
