Rhodes and Milly his wife, Nancy Howard & Bluford Marshall all of the County of Albem le of the second part. Witnesseth: That for and in consideration of one thousand dollars, to be paid by the parties of the second part as hereinafter mentioned, the said Mildred Marshall widow as aforesaid hath given, granted, bargained and sold and by hese presents doth give, grant bargain and sell unto the said Brice Marshall, Robert P. Rhodes and Milly his wife, Nancy Howard & Bluford Marshall, all the right, title and interest claim and demand, of her the said Mildred Marshall, in and to that part f the estate, real and personal of her dec’d husband William Marshall by which the Will of the said William Marshall is given to the said Mildred Marshall for her life including her whole interest under said Will except a few articles therein specified, hich her said husband gives to her in fee simple. These are not included in the conveyance. To have & to hold her said interest in the land and other property given and bequeathed to her for life as aforesaid, unto the said Brice Marshall, Robert P. R des & Milly his wife, Nancy Howard & Bluford Marshall as fully as it is confident for her the said Mildred Marshall to sell the same to them. And in consideration of the foregoing conveyance, the said Brice Marshall, Robert P. Rhodes & Milly his wife, ncy Howard & Bluford Marshall hereby bind themselves their heirs exect’r or admin’r on or before the 6th January 1848 to pay to the said Mildred Marshall the sum of one thousand dollars, lawful money of Virginia. Munday was Corded. And on the 30th March 1847 the same was proved by E. Wood and Corded. And on the 5 July 1847 Fully proved by Henry Marshall & admitted to record. Teste J. A. Garrett, Clk.
