Frank Leslie Baber

	BATESVILLE --	Frank Leslie Baber, 76, a retired carpenter, died 
this morning at his home here.

	Born Sept 8, 1888. In Albemarle County, he was a son of the late 
Jacob and Willie B. Baber.

	He was a member of Mt. Ed Baptist Church.

	Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Edna Martin Baber; seven sons,
Elmo Baber, Albert Baber, Guy Baber, and Leslie Baber of Alexandria,
Lawrence Baber of Key West Fla., Mason Baber of Portland, Conn.,
and Stanley Baber of Batesville; one daughter, Mrs. Leon Pound of
Vienna; one brother, Charlie Baber of Batesville; two sisters, Mrs. Tom 
Baber of Barboursville and Mrs. Robert Bailes of Doswell; 15 grandchildren 
and three great-grandchildren.

	The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Mt. Ed Baptist Church, 
with burial in the church cemetery.  The Hawkins Funeral Chapel is in 
charge of arrangements.
