Dabney Jr. Branch Edward Dabney Jr., 61, of Keswick, died Sunday in a local Hospital. Born in Albemarle County, he was son of the late Branch E. and Katie Bell Hawley Dabney. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Carrie Knight Dabney of Keswick; two daughters, Mrs. Doris Violet Seale of Ruckersville and Miss Betty Jo Dabney of Keswick; one son, Douglas Eugene Dabney of Louisa; one sister, Mrs. Irma Tumminello of Baltimore, Maryland; one brother, John Dabney of Gordonsville; and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Beaverdam Baptist Church, the Rev. Ted Fuson officiating, with burial in the church cemetery. Preddy-Teague Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
