Herman Hoover Baber

	Herman Hoover Baber, 55, of Route 2, Stuarts Draft, died March 15 at 
Waynesboro Community Hospital.

	He was born Aug. 9, 1929, in Charlottesville, a son of the late Hildra 
and Effie Kennedy Baber.

	He was owner and operator of Draft Tile Company.

Survivors are his wife, Dorothy Elizabeth Baber of Stuarts Draft; two 
daughters, Mrs. Deborah Davis of Lyndhurst, and Mrs. Darlene Ragland of 
Staunton; four brothers, Virgil Baber of Alexandria, Russell Baber of Afton, 
Aubrey Baber of Baltimore, Md., and Percy Baber of Waynesboro; five 
sisters, Mrs. Ruby Birckhead and Mrs. Margaret Edwards, both of 
Earlysville, Mrs. Helen Hudson of Bunker Hill, W. Va., Mrs. Hazel Woody 
of Scottsville and Mrs. Gracie Toms of Faber.

	Funeral services will be held ------- at 3 p.m. at Stuarts Draft Menonite 
Church, conducted by Rev. Roy Kiser.  Interment will be at the church 
cemetery.

	The family will receive friends ------- afternoon from 4-5 p.m. at 
McDow Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
