Edna O. Baber

Edna O. Baber, 91, died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 1987, in a 
Charlottesville nursing home.

	She was born July 21, 1896, in Albemarle, daughter of the late Guy 
Martin and Mattie Dudley Martin.  She was preceded in death by her 
husband, Frank L. Baber.

	Surviving are five sons, Elmo (Buck) Baber of Orange, Guy Baber of 
Alexander, Lawrence Baber of Crozet, Mason Baber of Portland, 
Connecticut and Stanley Baber of Batesville; one half-brother, Herbert 
Martin of Charlottesville; 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

	She was a member of the Mt. Ed Baptist Church.

	Family suggests donations may be made to the Mt. Ed Baptist Church 
Fund.

	The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 8 at the Anderson 
Funeral Home Chapel.

	Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Mt. Ed Baptist 
Church, Batesville, with interment in the church cemetery.  The Rev. Tim 
Saxxon will officiate.

	Anderson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
