Fayetteville Observer, NC - 09/05/1861
 DIED,
   In Charlottesville, Va., on Thursday the 22d of August, 1861, Mr. AUGUSTUS M. 
HURT, in the 22d year of his age.
   He was a member of the Nottoway Grays, 18th Regiment of Virginia.  He fought in 
the battle at Manassas on the 21st of July 1861, and was taken with typhoid fever 
and died at the hospital of the University of Virginia.
