DESCRIPTION: The graveyard is situated on the top of a high knoll or hill near the foot of Montgomery’s Knob on the northeast, some one and one-half miles from the top of said knob. The same is an ideal location for a burial ground and a splendid view of the surrounding country may be had from the site of the cemetery. The burial ground, which is a private, a family burying ground, is some two hundred yards or more from the house of Harmon and Evans which was located at the foot of said hill to the northeast. The cemetery ground is grown up in trees, some of which root into the graves and is in a pasture field. It is in a most abominable condition. There is no fence of any description around the cemetery and only a few rocks standing which show signs of any one buried.
