Wittnesseth that the said Judith Booth and William Booth junr for and in consideration of the Sum of One hundred pounds Current Money of Virginia to them in hand paid by the said William Vaden before the Sealing and Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof they do acknowledge and thereof acquit the said William Vaden, his Heirs, Executors and Administrations they the said Judith Booth and William Booth hath granted given bargained and Sold and by these Presents Doth grant give bargain and sell unto the said William Vaden and to his Heirs and Assigns all that Tract and parcel of Land containing by Estimation One hundred acres be the same more or less lying and being in the County of Amelia and the Parish of Raleigh upon Deep Creek and bounded as followeth viz: Beginning at a Corner Hickory on Deep Creek a little Distance below the Garc hole North Six degrees East one hundred poles to a Corner red Oak Thence North Twenty nine Degrees West Forty eight Poles to a Corner White oak on the Road thence up the Said Road as it Meanders to a Corner Red Oak Sapling thence South one hundred and eighty one poles to a Corner on Deep Creek-thence down the said Creek as it Meanders to the Beginning-together with all Houses, Woods, Waters, Water Courses, Profits, Commodies, Hereditaments and appurtinances whatsoever to the same belonging or in any ways appertaining and the Reversion and Reversions, Remainder and Remainders, Right, Title, Interest, Use, Trust, Property, Claim and Demand of them the said Judith Booth and William Booth of in to the said Tract or parcel of Land and all and singular the above granted Premises and every Part and Parcel thereof with the appurtinances. To Have and To Hold the said Tract of Land and all singular other the Premises above mentioned with the Appurtenacces herein before mentioned or intended to be hereby granted and Sold unto the said William Vaden his Heirs and Assigns forever and the said Judith Booth and William Booth for themselves, their Heirs, Executors and Administrators Doth Covenant grant and agree to and with the said William Vaden his Heirs, Executors and Administrators and assigns in manner and form following that is to say they the Said Judith Booth and William Booth junr at the Time of Sealing and delivering of these Presents is and stands lawfully Seized of and in the above granted Premisses and every part thereof a good sure perfect & indefeasable Estate of inheritance fee Simple and also that he the said William Vaden his Heirs and Assigns shall and may forever hereafter peaceibly and quietly have, hold, possess and Enjoy the said Premisses with the Appurtenacnes and every part thereof without the lawful Let wit trouble, Eviction or Molestration of them the said Judith Booth and William Booth junr their Heirs or Assigns or any other person or persons whatsoever in or to the said Premises or any part or parcel thereof and that the said Tract or Parcel of Land and everypart thereof with ye appurtinances is free and Clear from all other Bargains of Sale, Grants, Gifts, Judgments, Entails, Wills, Dowers, Mortgages of all other incumbrances whatsoever. And lastly that the said Judith Booth and William Booth junr for themselves and their Heirs and Assigns against the Title Claim and Demand of them Judith Booth and William Booth junr their Heirs and assigns and all other persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend. Witnesseth that the said Nathaniel Booth for and in Consideration of the sum of three hundred twenty five Ponds Current Money to him in hand paid the Receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge himself fully Satisfied therewith Hath Granted, Bargained and sold and by these Presents for himself and his Heirs Doth freely, Clearly and absolutely Grant, Bargain and sell unto the said Archer Johnson his Heirs and assigns forever One Certain Tract or Parcel of Land and Premises Containing by Estimation Three hundred and twenty six acres be the same More or less situate lying and being in the County of Amelia and on the West side of the sweathouse Creek and Bounded as followeth to wit: Beginning at a Corner Elm Tree at sweathouse Bridge on the said Creek thence West five Degrees North two hundred and forty five Poles to John Clays line thence along his LIne South Forty one degrees West sixty poles to a Corner in the said Clays Line thence South Sixteen Degrees East one hundred and thirty two Poles to a Corner Pine thence East twenty Degrees South two hundred and sixty Poles to the said Creek thence down the same as it Meanders to the Beginning, the said Land being part of a tract of Fifteen hundred and Fifty four acres Granted to Thomas Booth by letter Patent Dated the twenty ninth Day of September One thousand seven hundred and thirty five who Conveyed the same by Deed Bearing Date the twenty first Day of April one thousand seven hundred and forty nine to the above Mentioned Nathaniel Booth, party to these presents which on the Records of Amelia County Court will more fully appear with all Houses, Orchards, Gardens, fences, woods and underwoods, water and water courses thereunto Belonging or in anywise appertaining with the Reversion and Reversions, Remainder and Remainders, Rents, --and profits of all and singular the Premises and Every part and parcel thereof with their and every of their Rights, Members and appurtenances unto the said Archer Johnson and to his Heirs and assigns forever. To Have & To hold the said three hundred and twenty Six acres of Land and all and Every of it Rights Members and appurtenaces unto the said Archer Johnson and to his Heirs and assigns for ever. Witnesseth that the said Thomas Booth and Elizabeth his Wife, for and in Consideration of the sum of Five hundred Pounds Current Money of the said Thomas by the said John Gilliam in hand paid before the Sealing and Delivery of them Presents the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged. They, the said Thomas Booth and Elizabeth his Wife, have granted, Bargained and sold and by them present, Do grant Bargain and sell, alien and Confirm unto the said John Gilliam Senior and to his heirs and assigns for ever One Certain Tract or Parcel of Land Containing by Estimation Three hundred and Eighty two acres be the same more or less lying and being in the Sweathouse Creek in the Parish of Raleigh and County of Amelia and Bounded as Followoth (to Wit) Beginning at the mouth of Long Branch a little above the Bridge Thence along the main Creek to the mouth of George's Branch. Thence along Georges Branch to a Corner Oak in a Small Fork. Thence along George Booth's Line Fifty Degrees North One hundred and sixty Six poles to his Corner. Thence North Forty Degrees East Forty six Poles to the Long Branch Thence Down the Long Branch to the Beginning which said Tract of Land is the same whereon the said Thomas Booth now Dwells and is part of a Tract of Fifteen hundred and fifty four acres of Land Granted unto Thomas Booth, Father of the said Thomas, by Patent bearing Date the 29th Day of September 1735 and by the said Thomas Booth the Elder conveyed unto his said son Thomas by Deed Dated the 21st Day of April 1749 as by the said Decd of Record in the County Court of Amelia may more fully appear. With all Houses, Orchards, Woods, Way Waters, Water Crossings?, Profits, Commodities, Houditaments and appurtances whatsoever to the said Tract of Land promisses Belonging or in anywise appertaining and the Reversion and Reversions, Remainder and Remainders thereof and all the Estate Rights Titles and Interest of him, the said Thomas Booth and Elizabeth, his wife, and their heirs of in and to the same and every part & parcel thereof. To have & to hold all & singular the Premisses aforesaid with the appurtenances unto the said John Gilliam Sen his heirs and assigns To the only proper use and Behoof of the said John Gilliam Sen his heirs and assigns for ever and the said Thomas Booth for himself and his heirs doth Covenant and Grant to & with the said John Gilliam his heirs & assigns that he the said Thomas Booth and his heirs, the Tract of Land & premises aforesaid with the appurtenances unto the said John Gilliam his heirs & assigns against the Lawful Claim & Demand of all & every person & Persons whatsoever shall & will warrant and for ever Defend by these Present .
