HARRILL Date: 6 December 1793 This Indenture made this 6th day of December in the Year of Our Lord MDCCIXXXXIII Between John McAlexand & Nancy his Wife of Amherst County of the one part & Clever C. Harrill of the aforesaid County of the other part Witnesseth; that the said John McAlexander and Nancy his Wife for and in consideration of the Sum of fifty pounds Current Money of Virginia to the said John McAlexander and Nancy his Wife in hand paid, the Receipt whereof they hereby doth Acknowledge and hath Given Granted bargained and Sold Alien Enfeeof & Confirm and by these presents doth give grant Bargain Sell alien Enfeeof & Confirm unto the said Clever C Harrill and his heirs forever One Certain Tract or parcel of Land Containing three hundred and seven acres & three forth of an acre more or less lying and being in the County of Nelson in the State of Kentucky on green River, and bd. by the Lands of Alexander McAlexander & William Montgomery by patant Bearing date the Twenty Seventh day of October One Thousand Seven hundred and Eighty Eight number sixteen Thousand four hundred and twentyseven together with all houses Orchards Gardens fences and all other appurtenances unto the Same belonging, to have and to hold the said land and and premises with the appurtenances unto the Said Clever C Harrill and his heirs forever and the said John McAlexander and Nancey his Wife for themselves their heirs Executors & administraters, doth Covenant grant and agree to and with Said Clever C Harrill his heirs and assigns in manner and form following that is to say that the said John McAlexander and Nancy his wife now a Standeth Trully and Rightly fully Seized of the above Land and primises With the appurtenances and hath good Right and full power and Absolute Authority to Grant and Convey the Same unto the said Clever C Harril his heirs and Assigns & every of them, from time to time & at all times forever hereafter to have hold and Occupy possess & Enjoy all and Singular the above Granted primises with their & every of their appurtenances free and Clere of all in cumbrence what soever Will Warrant and defend by these presents in Witness whereof the parties to these presents their hands and Seals Interchangeable have set the day and Year first above Written.
