I do with the advice of Council certify that John Scurrey aged about (no age 
given) years of age, late a private in the Virginia line was disabled in such a 
manner in the service of the United States as to entitle him to the sum of eight 
pounds yearly, commencing on the first day of January 1791.  Given under my hand 
at Richmond, this 12th day of March1792.
