DIED
Of Pulmonary Consumption, at Painesville, Amelia, on Sunday the 26th of April, 
MRS. SYLVINIA R. VAN DEUSEN,  in the 38th year of her age.  No labored eulogy, 
no formal enumeration of the many virtues that adorned the character of this 
amiable lady is necessary to remind her friends of the deep loss they have 
sustained by her death.

A tender and affectionate husband fast entering as it were upon the "mid-course" 
of life thus sees the companion, to whom he looked for aid and comfort by the 
way, stricken down by his side.  To two interesting little daughters, she has 
bequeathed the bright example of her virtues, and a life of unsullied integrity.
