Barden ( note: could be Bardin but I is not dotted) Being of sound mind and disposing mind and memory, and considering the uncertainty of this mortal life, do make and declare this my last will & testament in manner and form following. 1st After all of my just debts are paid 2nd I give bequeath & devise to my granddaughter Ann R. Whitlow the sum of one hundred dollars. 3rd The remainder of my estate, both real and personal I desire to be equally divided between children Mary Agnes Barden. Vriginia Barden, R. J. Barden, R. A. Barden, Wm. F. Barden. 4th I hereby appoint my son R A.Barden executor of this mylast will and testament without security, hereby revoking all others heretofore made by me. Barden dec'd, was this day produced in open Court and proven by the oaths of DP.E. Anderson & G.W. Powell two of the subscribing witnesses thereto offered to be recorded. And on motion of R. A. Barden the Excecutor named therein he is permitted to qualify. Thereupon he appeared before the court and qualified by taking the oath required by law. And entered into and acknowledged a bond in the penalty of $ 5000.00 without security, the testator by his said will requesting that no security be required of him Certificate is granted him for obtaining a probate of said will in due form.
