In the name of God Amen I William Farley Sen. of the Parish of Rawleigh and the County of Amelia Being in 
perfect mind and memory thanks be unto all mightly God for it and  Calling tomind the mortality of my body 
and knowing it sisappointed unto all men once to die do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testement 
first I give my Soul to Almighty God who First gave it me and  body to the Earth to be buried at the discretion 
of my Executors and my worldly Estate the Lord hath Blessed me with I give and bequeath in manner as Follows 

after my just debts are paid First I give unto my beloved wife Martha all my Estate I now enjoy both Real 
and personal during her natural life.  Item I give and beqeath unto my Son Stephen all theLand I now possess 
also Two negroes named Ben and Joe Boy to him and his Heirs forever. Item I give and bequeath unto my Son Stuart 
Farley one Negroe man named Bobb; Item I give unto my Son Daniel Farley one negro named Jimmboy to him and his 
heirs For Ever. I give and bequeath unto my Son William Farley one negro named Lewis to him, and his heirs for 
Ever.  Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Hannah one Negro named Suckey also one bed and Furniture as it 
Stand commonly called her bed to she and her heirs forever.  Item I give and beueath unto my daughter Betty Stuart 
one negro named Cloe to she and her heirs Forever , Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter in Law Sarah Farley 
one Nego named Nance to she and her heirs forever and all the  rest of my Estate To be Equally Divided, amongst 
all my Legates metioned to they and heir heirs forever. I appoint my Son Stephen Farley and my Son Daniel Farley 
my whole and Sole Executor of this my Last Will and Testement hereby Revoking &  disassembling all other wills by 
me made formerly.

I Witness whereof  I have here unto set my hand and affixed my Seal this 18th day of November one thousand seven 
hundred & Eighty Two
