Will & Estate of William Hulme, 1760-1761 - Amelia Co. VA WILL BOOK 1, page 184 In the name of God Amen, I William Hulme of the Parish of Nottoway in the county of Amelia, being of Sound and Disposing mind and Memory, yet considering the uncertainty of the mortal life do think it necessary to make and ordain this my last Will and Testament which is as followeth. (Illegible word) I Give and Bequeath unto my daughter Ann Hulme one Negro girl named Beck to her and her heirs forever. ITEM I give and bequeath unto my son John Hulme one half of the money my land shall fetch when sold to him and his heirs forever. ITEM I give and bequeath unto my son Robert Hulme one Negro girl named Nan to him and his heirs forever. ITEM I give and bequeath unto my son Charles Hulme one half of the money my land shall fetch when sold to him and his heirs forever. ITEM My Will and Desire is that my Executors hereafter mentioned do sell the land where I now live and pay the money as before willed to my two sons John Hulme and Charles Hulme. ITEM I give and bequeath all the rest of my Estate unwilled away after my debts paid, to be equally divided among my eight children, Bell Hulme, William Hulme, Thomas Hulme, Ann Hulme, John Hulme, Robert Hulme, Charles Hulme and Mary Hulme. And lastly I do constitute and appoint my sons Bell Hulme, William Hulme and Thomas Hulme Executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all other Wills by me heretofore made.
