Amelia Co., VA Date: Will of John Johns, 1782 Will Book 3 Amelia County Virginia page 137 Date 25 July 1782 We the subscribers being appointed by the Court of Amelia County to receive of John Johns Administrator of the Estate of John Johns deceased a final settlement of the said Estate have by virtue there of said of and allotted the widdow of the said deceased her Dower in the same. As also have allotted the legatees their respective parts in the said Estate as appears on the back of this writing Sam Sherwin Jno. Howson Rowland Ward Jun. The boundery of the land allotted to the widdow aford is from the ford upon Little Creek and from thence up a small stream to Capt.
