I Thomas Wingo Jun'r of Amelia County being sick and weak of body but being of sound sence & memory, thanks be to almighty God for the same and calling to remembrance the uncertainty of this transitory life and that all flesh must yield unto death when it shall please Almighty God to call do make and declare this my last will and testament in manner and form following: Item Inprimus it is my will & desire that my tract of land whereon I now live containing two hundred acres be equally divided among and between my three sons William, Obediah, & Thomas and my daughter Oney. -- When they shall arrive to lawful each to have their equal part to them and their heirs forever. Item I give and bequeath all the remaining part of my estate both real and personal to be equally divided between my loving wife Sarah and my four children above named Wm Obediah, Thomas, and Oney and each to have their equal part to them and their heirs forever. Lastly, I appoint my loving wife Sarah Wingo, Thomas Wingo, and John Wingo executrix and Executors of this my last will and testament. ing all forms wills by me made and declaring this only to be my last will and testament in witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and I seal this 8th day of November 1764. In court held for Amelia County the 27th day of June 1765 this will was proved by the oaths of Thomas Davenport, Thomas Foster & Thomas James the witnesses thereto sworn to by Sarah Wingo and Thomas Wingo two of the executors therein named is ordered to be recorded from the motion of the said executors when entered into & acknowledged bond with Christopher Ford & John Mann their certificate was granted them for obtaining a probate in due form. The estate of Thomas Wingo Sun dec'd. Sarah Wingo widow and executrix of the said Thomas. List of accounts settled. In pursuance of an order of Amelia Court hearing date of 23rd day of June 1766 We the subscribers have settled the estate of Thomas Wingo Jun'r deceased and find the account to stand as above stated and that there is a balance due to the said estate from the Executrix of nine eleven shillings and ten pence given under our hand this 23rd day of September 1766.
