Gladys H. Smith, 77 of Tampa died August 17, 2007. Daughter of Robert and 
Pauline Humphreys, She was a resident of the area for 49 years, coming from 
Buena Vista, Va. A member of Cavalry Tabernacle. Preceded in death by Husband, 
Ralph J. Smith, Sr. and Brothers, Hiram, Roy Lee and Raymond Humphreys. 
Survivors: Son, Robert J. Smith and Wife, Lynn A; Daughters, Deborah and 
Husband, Lynwood Hatcher and Sheila and Husband, Tom Johnson; Grandchildren, 
Travis, Julie, Jeremy, Matthew, Justin, Jennifer, Laura, Derek, Jessica and 
Ryan; Great-Grandchildren, Gavin, Shawn, Kristina, Nathan, Garrett, Corbin, 
Jaden, Joslyn and Josiah; Brothers, the Rev. Bobby Humphries and Lester 
Humphries. Funeral service 10am. Saturday, August 25, 2007 at Stowers Brandon 
Chapel with Interment to follow at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens. Family will 
receive friends 6-8pm. Friday at the Funeral Home. Request contributions be 
made to Alzheimer's Association in Her Memory.  Stowers-Brandon.
