VA Amherst County Will Book 1 Page 161 Administrators Bond Page 166, inventory Page 172 In the name God amen I Pearce Wade of the County of Amherst being weak in body but of Sound memory (Blessed be God) do this 13th Day of Dec. in the year of our Lord one Thousand Seven hundred and Sixty nine make & Publish this my last Will and Testament in manner Following Imprimis I commend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God who gave it and my Body to the Earth to be Decently buried at the discretion of my Executors hereafter named. Item after my Just and Lawful Debts are paid by my Executors Item my will is that my wife Elizabeth Wade have a Quiet Possession on the Plantation whereon I now live with a Decent Livelyhood so Long as She remains a Widow & also I Leave her my Bed & furniture During Widowhood Item I Give to my Daughter Susanna Wade when my younges Child comes of age and Equal part in my Estate to her & her heirs Lawfully begotton. Item my Daughter Elisabeth I leave five Shillings for her Legacie is paid & likewise my Daughter Abigil Hardwick is paid Item my will is that my whole Estate be Kept together till my Youngest Child Comes of age and then my Land Stock & Negroes to be Sold & Equally Divided amongst my Children together with all my Houshold furniture Lastly I make & ordain Ambrose Rucker, Richard Peter, Richard Shelton, James Crews Executors of this my Will in Trust for the Intents and purposes in this my Will Contained in this Sheet of Paper and I do hereby Revoke all former & other Wills heretofore by me made Either By word or writing & my Executors are to take Care and see this my Will performed According to my true Intent and meaning.
