Lewis Paulette Cemetery Location: 5 miles west of Appomattox, Va., on Route #460; thence 4.1 miles south on Route #648. Church and cemetery on west side of road. Appomattox County DESCRIPTION: This old cemetery has a good many old graves in it, but no inscriptions on stones. This is the only old inscription that I could find. The cemetery has a panel fence all around, a good many real large oak trees. Lilac bushes and lots of honeysuckle and ivy. Rev. W.W. Stickley Born Jan. 30, 1809 Pastor of Old Concord Church 1842 – 1849 New Concord 1844 – 1857 Rock Springs near Abingdon 1858 – 1862 Died Jan. 12, 1862 Little Willie rests at Rocks Springs.
