Cemetery Location:  5 miles west of Appomattox, Va., on Route #460; thence 4.1 
                    miles south on Route #648.  Church and cemetery on west side 
                    of road.
                    Appomattox County




DESCRIPTION:

This old cemetery has a good many old graves in it, but no inscriptions on stones.  This is the only old inscription that I could find.  The cemetery has a panel fence all around, a good many real large oak trees.  Lilac bushes and lots of honeysuckle and ivy.

This monument is erected by John Shearer in affectionate remembrance of his consort Ruth A.S. whose Body lies beneath this stone and whose soul, he trust, rest in the Paradise of God for-ever with her Lord.
