At the intersection of Highway 24 and 460 go 2.9 miles on 460 and turn right on to a private road. This road crosses over the railroad and go .6 mile to the mouth of Reedy Creek. The cemetery is directly behind the mouth of the creek approximately 300 feet to the top of the hill and 25 feet into the edge of the woods. Only five stones remained when this was copied on May of 1990, by Bob Law and Tom Moody, but it is said there were, at one time, as many as seventy seven graves visible, most with field stones. Those stones remaining: Wm Akers Died March 31, 1810 Aged 80 years E.A. (this is Elizabeth Akers, the wife of Wm Akers) Mary Helm Died Nov 16, 1811 Aged 23 (she was Mary Chapman first wife of James Helm) Here lies the body of H.W. McReynolds who departed this life the 18th of July 1794 Aged 35 years Nathaniel Patterson Departed this life ye 13th of April 1786 Aged 14
