Lewis Paulette Cemetery Location: 5 miles east of Appomattox, Virginia, on Route #24; thence 3.5 miles north (left) on Route #616. House on north side. Appomattox County HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Just a short distance from the house is the Old Bocock burying ground, located in a clump of large oak and cedar trees there is no fence around this small graveyard, but it is well kept. There are boxwood and other shrubs as well as lilacs and all kinds of rose bushes. There are quite a few graves of this distinguished family to be found here.
