Herndon Cemetery Location: On the farm of Mr. Allen, known as the Geddings Place, south of Churchville, Va., on a mud road, 1 mile. Augusta County There are a number of markers here but none that are legible enough to read. This accompanying epitaph was secured from a history of Churchville, which had been prepared especially for a celebration. The stone is very old and weatherworn, as are mot of the others, and the plot is in very bad condition.
