Cemetery Location:  About 1.5 miles south east of West Augusta, Va., on Route 
                    #688
                    Augusta County




It appears to have been at one time a public burial ground but there are no 
traces of a church and no one remembers a church ever having been here.  It was 
probably a community plot.  It is in very good condition, no briars or 
overgrowth of bushes and the weeds had been cut.
