Herndon Cemetery Location: About 2 miles from Staunton, Virginia on Route #256 west Augusta County This plot is very much overgrown with briars and vines and contains a number of graves. There is no house near and the ground adjacent is not cultivated. No one seems to know whose farm it is located on. There are many river stones and sunken graves.
