LVA Titled Files: Survey Report, Mt. Zion graveyard:

Cemetery Location:  2 miles west of Mt. Solon, Va., on Route #747
                    Augusta County




Both Mt. Zion Church and the graveyard are on the top of a hill and there are 
forest trees near the church.  The burying ground is across the road, east of 
the church.  The earliest date here is 1830.   There are also four graves here 
containing a mother, her three daughters and a baby, who all died within a few 
days from a diphtheria epidemic.
