LVA Titled Files: Survey Report, Naked Creek graveyard:

Cemetery Location:  .5 mile from Burketown, Va., on  Route #680
                    Augusta County




This is a small graveyard, with many recent burials.  It is well kept and the 
stones have been well set.  The spelling on one epitaph quoted in interesting.  
These graves are not sunken.

Aged 7 Years 3 Mo. & 27 Days
Her languishing head is reast
Its thinking and sobing are ore
Her quiet immovable breast
Is heaved by affliction no more.

William B. Mullin
Son of James & Sarah Mullin
who was born  August 4th 1849
And died June 4th 1852
Aged 3 years 10 months
Weep not for me my parents dear
To grieve it is in vain
Christ is my hope you need not fear
We all shall meet again.
