Beginning at a hickory and white oak sapling corner to the land of Thomas Dunn and near the mountain, thence with the lines of Dunn's land S60 W102 poles to two white oaks S25 E 138 - to a black oak and two white oak sapling-SE36- to a hickory white oak, S60 W76 poles- croping the run to a white oak. SE68 poles to the hickory sapling on a high ridge, S80 E210 poles to two sugar trees by said run, N6 E58 poles to three white oak saplings by the run. N6 E102---- to between a White and red oak on the ridge, N60 W134 to a black oak corner to the land of James Allison, and with a line through N75 W 104- two Red oaks, N15 W66 to two black oaks, near the mountains, N68, 2, W, 57 poles, to the beginning. The above is a true copy of a plat, and so much of the Certificate of Survey that remains, taken from the original on file in this office among the surveys made for the Loyal Company; which original appears to have been mutilated by the rats.
