Obituary: Louise Shirley Coffey Campbell Source: Daily News Leader, 23 Sep 1991. Contributor: Wayne Coffey --------------------------------------------------- SHERANDO -- Louise Shirley (Coffey) Campbell, 55, of Rt. 1, Lyndhurst and wife of Ralph J. Campbell, died Friday afternoon (Sept. 20,1991) in an automobile accident which occurred near Sherando. She was born July 24, 1936 in Nelson County, a daughter of Forest and Eva (Campbell) Coffey. She was a press operator with Genesco-The Greif Co., having completed 13 years of service prior to a medical retirement in 1968. She was a member of Mountain Top Christian Church. In addition to her parents of Lyndhurst and husband, survivors include one son, Steven Michael Campbell of Nellysford; two sisters, Ruby Coffey of Lyndhurst and Madeline Hewitt of Waynesboro; one brother, Richard T. Coffey of Stuarts Draft; and six grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. A service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Waynesboro chapel of Etter Funeral Home by the Revs. T. Ray Coffey, Robert Mansfield and Charles C. Ramsey. Burial will be in Augusta Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Gary Demastus, Melvin Glass, Ed Fitzgerald, Lewis Campbell, Eldon Campbell, Wilson Campbell and Randy Fitzgerald. Honorary pallbearers will be nieces, nephews and friends attending the service.
