COFFEY'S FUNERAL Mrs. Sarah Rebecca Coffey, aged eighty-five, died Jan. 1 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. V. W. Cook at Drewrys Bluff. The funeral was held in Thornrose cemetery at two o’clock Saturday afternoon, the short service at the grave being conducted by Dr. G. G. Martin of Staunton, assisted by the Rev. McK. Reynolds of Main Street M. E. church, Waynesboro, and the deceased's nephew, Dr. Harry Coffey, Raleigh Court M. E. church of Roanoke. A solo, "Abide With Me," was sung by Miss Susin Spilman. Pallbearers were grandsons of the deceased. Surviving are six daughters: Mrs. Walter Kefauver, Roanoke; Mrs. V. W. Cook, Drewrys Bluff; Mrs. G. R. Craig, Salem; Mrs. O. H. Lee, Ellerson; Mrs. Howard Plumb, Waynesboro; Lottie Coffey, Winchester; and the following brothers, C. M. Coffey, Staunton; James H. Coffey, Landover, Md. One son, Wallace, passed away Dec. 6. Also surviving are a half-sister, Mrs. Marion Coffey, Lynchburg, and a half-brother, U. S.
